I definitely don't agree with the upkeep being lowered, as it's already been lowered substantially, but additional reasons to cap would be nice. I think a similar system to thaler would be a good idea for citadel, where members can choose rewards for capping, rather than the default bonus experience. For example for maxed players xp may not be a draw, but perhaps cosmetic outfits could be a nice addition (Always loved the guard armour for example :P ).

Other than that some of the plots could do with making them a little less click intensive (loom for example).

I agree that there should be some incentives to capping but I don't agree to restricting the avatar benefits to only those who cap a certain amount because I personally never visit my citadel but I still want the Avatar bxp.

By visiting and by collecting resources, Avatar Wardens continually earn the right to summon the avatars. I have no issues with clan members wanting only the Avatar bxp, it's bonus exp, who wouldn't! But at the same time,
without those clan members collecting resources, there would be no avatars.

...restricting the avatar benefits to only those who cap a certain amount
is not the goal. The goal is to take the responsibility of collecting resources off of the shoulders of a few and spread that responsibility across many.

I disagree, capping is what it is and the citadel is what it is no need to keep flogging a dead horse.

Only focus i would put on citadel from here is easing the pressure of upkeep (i would go as far as say remove upkeep) and any additions to it such as new plots and features. No point in keep trying to force people there with xp improvements etc etc its just gonna always be beaten by other game methods.

No Support, the citadel is twenty times better to obtain goals for upkeep with very little members... Leave it be!

I don't know what this means.

I do like the idea of restricting orts to the citadel only. Perhaps have a reward of orts at intervals of x100 resources

New plots and other changes to the citadel might very well be "flogging a dead horse" when it comes to getting clan members excited about playing citadel content again. Further adjustments to how capping and getting upkeep work might help solve the troubles some clans (including mine) have been experiencing.

If we can't have upkeep eliminated entirely, making capping go considerably faster should help. Devoting half an hour each week would be much easier for many to manage than two hours. Eight hours a month is a hefty chunk of time for some players who don't play for hours on end.
