Virtual Orts - Carry over ?

I have a new clan member who just joined the clan today, who was able to pay the avatar with orts almost immediately.

He has just queried why he isn't getting the avatar buff even though he is on the clan home world with the avatar . Despite trying everything we know, we haven't been able to get him the bonus . He is able to quick chat 1220 orts in virtual storage.

My question is should he be able to pay with orts from his previous clan and the not getting the bonus is a bug ? or should he be able to get the bonus right away .

Alternatively, should he not have any orts at all , and thats the thing that isnt working ? I don't remember seeing any update info that said orts now carry over from clan to clan ?

He shouldn't have the orts to begin with, so that's definitely a bug and he should submit a bug report.

I had a new member join who had 7k orts but when he joined they were removed so going off that as well i'd say it is a bug.

Ah this happened with one of my friends who joined my clan on May 22nd. Within 20 minutes of joining The Name, she was able to feed the avatar orts and was also about to quickchat how much she had in storage.

I forgot to ask you guys when that update happened/if it was even intentional, because I didn't hear anything about this changing either, but I also don't really follow Patch notes.

Next time she's online I'll ask her how many orts she has, and also ask if she's received any orts drops. For now I don't know if it's a matter of the system taking a while to update or if it's a bug.

Yes! Some of my members who joined also had orts from last clan. Was not sure if intended or not...

It seems that it happens for everyone since virtual storage! Maybe the system only checks when leaving clan for orts in bank or so and not the virtual storage? Ceecs - leader of Ceecs Clan

Hurrah ! thats great news . The people in my clan that it affected did submit bug reports, but is good to know we can keep it like that. Is nice for clannies to be able to pay the avatar right away .
