Fish Flingers is a members D&D which has no requirements to start, and requires no items. To start flinging, simply talk to one of the many fishermen around Runescape. The locations of the fisherman can be seen in the image below.

Tickets
To play Fish Flingers, you must have Fish Flinger Tickets. Everyone starts with 10 Tickets. Each game costs one Fish Flinger ticket, and the ticket is consumed when the game begins.
More tickets can be obtained by:
• Talking to a Fisherman once a day for 2 tickets (up to 10)
• Random chance of finding them while fishing in Fish Flinger game or outside of the game (excluding Dg)
• Purchase them for 100 tokens each from the Fishermen Rewards Shop
• Using a D&D Token (Daily). This will give you 1 ticket, and can only be used once per day.
The maximum amount of ticket you can get from daily sources (Fishermen and D&D Token) is 10. Therefore if you have 9 tickets, and you speak to the fishermen, he will only give you 1. You can, however, obtain up to a cap of 15 fish flinger tickets from randomly finding them while fishing, or purchasing them for 100 tokens from the reward shop. If you have 10 or more tickets when speaking to the fishermen to obtain your daily tickets, he will not give them to you. He will instead hold your tickets until you go below 10.
If you have 10 tickets, and you have not claimed your daily tickets. As long as you stay in lobby and don't talk to the fishermen until you hit 8 tickets, you can claim your 2 daily tickets without losing 1.

A full round of fish flinger game is split into 3 sections:
5 minute
– Waiting Period.
Lobby is closed and no one can enter.
5 minute
– Lobby opens and people can start teleporting into Fish Flinger lobby by talking to any fishermen. When the chat message “4 minutes remaining” appears – hints are available and you can start hinting. (Note, since there is a delay on when the in game timer appears, the message and the timer usually don’t align up). Exactly 5 minutes after lobby is open, Lobby will close and prevent anymore players from teleporting in, even though game hasn't started yet. Game starts when the timer in the lobby hits 0.
10 minute
– Gameplay. A round of Fish Flingers lasts 10 minutes.
This means there are 3 Flinger games per hour, with each round lasting 20 minutes and actual game play time being 10 minutes. To check how long until the next game, you can:
• Use your minigames interface
• Use your tacklebox (note: Tacklebox tells you when the game starts, not when the lobby opens)
• Ask a Fishermen
Please refrain from asking in the friends chat time left in game, as you may end up unknowingly disrupt a game currently in process or a compiler.

Interfaces - During Lobby

When Lobby opens, you have 5 minutes to teleport into the Fish Flinger lobby to prepare for the next game. Inside the lobby, there are a few interfaces that provides useful information regarding the upcoming game:
Noticeboard
To the north side of the lobby, there is a noticeboard that can be clicked on for the map of the Fish Flinger island, as well as the requirements to obtain each of the 4 medals. This is especially helpful for newer players learning how to fling.
Timer
Shortly after lobby opens, a timer will appear. This is the timer that counts down time until game starts. Please note lobby may be closed as early as 1:00 left on the timer, therefore it is advised to teleport into the fish flinger lobby as soon as possible. When the game starts, the timer will reset to count down from 10 minutes to show time left in game.
“Ratings”
Clicking on the ratings in Lobby will give you a list of all the species and their location for the upcoming game. This is incredibly helpful when trying to hunt for combos.

Once the timer hits 0, the doors to the east and west of the lobby will open and game will begin. You will also be introduced to 2 more interfaces that are crucial during game play. The location of these interfaces will vary depending on your screen layout.
Bait, Hook, and Weight
This interface is where all the “stuff” you will need for the game is. You will need to select a Bait, Hook and at least 1 weight before you can catch anything. Once you have selected your choice of bait, hook and weight, click cast to start fishing. (If you don’t see all 8 baits, 6 hooks and 3 weights, as well as the “cast” and “clear” button, your interface may be too small and you need to resize it)
Status Panel
This is the panel with all your information and progress in the current game. See image below for a detailed breakdown.
If you accidentally close these interfaces, the only way to get them back is by loading one of your presets.

How to get a Hint
When you first enter the lobby you will need to get a hint from the fisherman. To do this you have to talk to the Fishermen, and ask him for a hint. You do NOT have to be in the lobby to get a hint from the fishermen. However, you must have at least one ticket remaining to get a hint. If you ask the Fishermen for a hint in the lobby, you must also be at least one square away from him to get a hint from him.

Once you have your hint you should say it in the FC, and it will look something like this: Salmon/Dock/Shrimp.
If you are muted you can still hint using quick chat. To do this you can search in quick chat the following:

"My casting distance will be:..."
Tip - Write down all the hints called in the FC to make it easier for you to find the 100% combos during the game.
