Have you upgraded to Ostentatious Bar, Mariner Lodgings, Maritime Shipwright, Revamped Workshop, and Sovereign Warehouse?

When checking for potential upgrades, have you scrolled all the way down?

is there a way to like "farm" chi? can't seem to find anything on post here about chi & the other armour supplies other than whats profit from it


Also i see posts on here with captains having like 2k score in etc. Morale, is it just the trait thingies that gives them that or how? And if so how do u farm those? Also how do u get traits on normal crew members instead of only captains Probably afk

To farm Chi Globes, build 4 Jade Statues. Build 2 Tengu icons and 1 Occultist icon.

I don't have guides for any trade goods except Ancient Bones, but I need to do a major overhaul on the Ancient Bones guide soon. I should consider making guides for the other trade goods as well...

Yea +1% traits (the correct 1% - in their specialty) are the worth the most for Captain/Crew Hiscores. To get traits and/or personal bonuses on crew depends on a huge amount of RNG, but you can increase your odds by hiring crew with favorable examines (there are others not listed AFAIK):

- Seventh child of a seventh child
- Hunts sea monsters for fun
- Carves spoons from teak
- Wants to be buried at sea
- Eats only hardtack
- A little less briny than the sea
- Smells remarkably like an admiral pie

Thank you for the great guide, that helped me finish off my port adventures (well, now I'll switch to farming trade goods for coins, I suppose) … got my final story voyage complete (bailed on the terracotta merchant in lieu of getting a higher success chance) and now have finished all my Tengu equipment (which in turn of course let me finish 'Salty' for the Arc). You've been very responsive to questions, which is awesome!!
