Is there a specific region I need to focus on to get upgrades for my crew? A lot of my voyages don't upgrade the crews' stats. Additionally, is there any specific region or buildables for upgrading my captains' traits?

You mean leveling crew up to the maximum level 10? Just sail them on successful voyages. Keep all 4 ships sailing 24/7/365 or as much as possible.

You mean leveling crew up to the maximum level 10? Just sail them on successful voyages. Keep all 4 ships sailing 24/7/365 or as much as possible.


Not the level, I think it may be XP? For example, one of my GU Bodyguards is Level 10, but only has a combat level(/XP?) of 4210. I have been sending them out on The Shield, which takes a long time, but very rarely will they level up the stats. I was wondering if it would be faster if I tried a lower region?

The +10 in Combat is personal bonuses on him since you hired him at level 0. Personal bonuses and/or traits are constant from the moment you hire the crew.
