Hi Icey,
Aren't the clues fascinating? Just when you think you know them there always is something new.
This area of "somewhere in RuneScape" was found after the graphical update of trees on western areas. After it the bushes west of hill giants were no longer blocking nor the trees north of Castle Wars. Now it seems to have got a clue of its own. How nice!!
We tested the area on 8th of March. I posted it on weekly analysis on page 51 and updated later on clue listings on page 1, but unfortunately my clue border posts have all reached their character limits. I should re-write them all.
Anyways, on our tests we found that the border between "somewhere in RuneScape" and "South of Ardougne" is same as between "North of Ardougne" and "around Ardougne" -- 0'16'' west / 0'15'' west. I assume this is the border for the new area also, but it needs to be tested.
I think the whole map of clues is being built sort of quilting clue patches on the bottom layer - which I assume is "somewhere in RuneScape" - and on larger clue areas. This would explain why new areas, like for example Phoenix lair in Piscatoris, Daemonheim and this soutwest of ZMI and northwest of Castle Wars, have first mostly been with this clue. Often these new areas are also without music.
Odd though is the narrow stripe of "somewhere in RuneScape" northwest of Arandar gates. It looks like the elven clue area has been misplaced 3 squares off to west
Thank you Icey for sharing your founds. I am always happy notice other players find clues as fun and interesting as I do.
