The ring of trees, when activated, blocks other players views of the game world. This is often used in highly populated worlds on top of portables.
When one ring of trees is activated, it's fairly difficult to locate the portable you are using.
When multiple rings of trees are activated, you'll be damn lucky to find that portable.
Ring of trees are essentially as much of a menace as large familiars are. Since these familiars have been banned in many places, I'm certain the ring of trees can be coded with the same block functions.
As Draco pointed out, this is not the first time this has been brought to attention on these forums. This is also not the first time I've made it clear how these offer a negative experience to other players. Once again he writes a false narrative to suit his own agenda.
