People aren't just gathering around to pool portables but also cores. Going somewhere else would mean not being able to maintain the core boosts as effectively since you may end up having to swap between both constantly for lack of anyone else using any nearby and it'll likely impact skilling efficiency due to the added inventory management.

You could literally just go to the dedicated portables world, I always get 100% up time on my cinder cores and pulse cores over there, win win yeah?

I completely agree with OP. The ring of trees and many other items/pets are used to intentionally grief players who are just trying to play the game and enjoy or enhance their experience while doing that. I never understood why someone would spend hours of their lives to just bother or hurt others, including in this game. What do they get out of it other than their own joy of hurting others for their own sick enjoyment? I don't understand it and never will. Why pay membership to play this game to just sit there for hours in one spot to directly block other players from playing this game.

Getting a toggle doesnt "fix" anything either.

Ppl have every right to use them and be seen as thats the reason they were made.

Just because ppl want to complain about them doesnt mean this should happen.

Plus how hard is it really to "find the right tile"?

Its not like you're looking for a needle in a haystack.

Lets be reasonable here.

Nothing gives players a right to antagonize other players. That's why they did things like remove hitting sounds on the rubber chickens and disable pets and canons in certain locations. They even finally did something about the Anachronia griefing just in time for DXP.

I've suggested multiple options to address the situation at this point without necessarily disabling the ring of trees so you wouldn't necessarily need to go any further than they've gone with canons and pets already. How to block a forum user
