Dilbert, have you read one single word I've typed, or are you just purposely being a troll? I have said on multiple occasions that most people can't get 70k damage before the event is over because the people using expensive AOEs are killing everything BEFORE we can do so. We have to somehow out-DPS those people in order to get 70k damage before the event ends. It's not endless monsters for 5 minutes and all we have to do is get 70k damage, it's a set amount of monsters and they all die from the people with PVM gear before any of the rest of us can kill them. It's like there's 2.5 million total damage and 5 people take 2 million of it, leaving the other 30 of us to try and get 70k of the remaining 500k.

THAT'S the problem. i tried telling him this for 2 pages already as im in the same boat, the event occurs during the time I'm in work so completing them at their preset times means waiting for a day im not in work or getting up at stupid times like 4am just to kill a few demons if i want comp again, making it very tedious and time consuming and as it can take the average working class person possibly a month to complete this with the weird times and work schedule there should of been a grace period or maybe as an early bird do them at shorter intervals for the first week so it can run through all 13 in a few hours rather then litterally half a day

If it takes you a month to complete an achievement, so be it. Why don't all those Maxe players complain about taking years to get a Max Cape? maybe because they dont have the cape yet, if you have it you should be given time before you lose it, if you dont have it then its still work in progress, I already told you this twice

The person I replied to and you too both seemingly have the Max Cape.

my issues arent getting the cape personally but i do work and getting the time to do these events are tricky so for someone having dps issues it could be a complete nightmare

Please check and try again.

There will be no issues when you just wait a couple of weeks when less people are doing the new content. It happened the same ways all these 21 years, for instance, when a lot of people were camping for whips and dboots. If not a couple of weeks, a month later there will be less people.

Please check and try again.

There will be no issues when you just wait a couple of weeks when less people are doing the new content. It happened the same ways all these 21 years, for instance, when a lot of people were camping for whips and dboots. If not a couple of weeks, a month later there will be less people. which could mean losing comp for a few weeks because you cant out dps half the pvmers which is why there should of been a grace period, keep in mind none of this effects me personally but im looking out for everyone else who may have more commitments and they do deserve a 2 week grace period bare minimum

like jagex keeps telling people real life comes before the game, the game should support that by giving those who have achieved completionist time to get the achievement done without the comp cape being held hostage

On page 3, Post 7, didn't you already agree that I have a point there will not be a big issue even if we have to wait a few weeks to get comp back when (and it is absolute true) we Wildy Flash Events are here to stay?

did i not also state on multiple occasions that if it cant be completed within 24hours then it should have a grace period

to have an alternative way of doing it IF this is something they are going to do then that should make it possible to get the achievement much faster without needing a grace period however this option is not in game yet therefore a grace period should be available until said content is added and that alternative method is available, until its in game it shouldnt be used as a defence to say wait this may come to help you but dont know when

I guess most people, including many of the few on these RSOF have agreed Flash Events aren't temporary and we have all the time in Gielinor to play through them. If you don't want to watch the proof, so be it... and it is up to the person I replied to take his time.

Werewolf, I'm just gonna ignore Dilbert since he has 24,119 forum posts and 3.4bil XP, yet still doesn't understand what he's commenting on or apparently even have a basic grasp of logic.

As for the combat events, I've been able to get the required damage if I go to a Legacy combat world, otherwise even when spamming AOEs like Dilbert says, there's no way to get over the people who spent billions on better AOEs. Try going to Legacy worlds just for the events you're missing for comp. After that, just focus on the skilling events for trimmed comp. Dilbert here won't understand why, but it's really sad when that's the solution we have to use just to complete a few events...

Legacy worlds have far far less players, not that you can do more damage there. Of course it is your choice to go there. Whatever way it takes, good to know you can complete the events.

My biggest problem with all of the combat ones and most of the gathering ones is that I cant even see my cursor because there's so much going on at the same time. Its like sensory overload. I estimate that I get a reward about 15 % of the time or less. Waiting until there's less people there seems unfair because I'm paying to play something that wasn't designed to be playable by all playing members.
