# Ashdale Tutorial
This does sound better than the old Ashdale Tutorial.
You're character not being the chosen one is good.
It is a little bit long.
Most new players will be playing on mobile, which is why we got the Davendale Tutorial.
As for the Rewards. Level 5 is quite high, I don't think we had a previous Tutorial that is that generous.

# Lumby
Players should arrive at Lumbridge via the Lodestone Network which they have just unlocked (Like in the Davendale Tutorial)
Teaching the player how to use the interface is good, however mobile players can't change the interface.

The Burthorpe Mining/Smithing part is better.
Fletching is only a bit better over Burthorpe.
Crafting... I would rather just do the miniquest Sheep Shearer.
Captain Harlan teaching new players again just like in RS2 and OSRS is good.
The Burthorpe Slayer part is so much better. (But really I don't know how you could top it)

# Lumby Quests
The Blood Pact - Good Quest
Cook's Assistant - Good Quest
The Restless Ghost - Good Quest
One Piercing Note
- This quest is quite long and takes place far from Lumby it also it has high level post quest rewards.
Rune Mysteries
- Great Quest but to far away from Lumby and it's direct sequel quest needs membership. (Rune Memories should be f2p)
Stolen Hearts
- Quite a Long Quest and the rewards are quite bad.

# Varrock
Ironman players can't use the GE. The GE should be a shortcut to get items.
We shouldn't force the player to use it.

I like the idea of showing a scam taking place.

# Clans
I don't think we should force players to join a clan. (Even as an optional thing)
As it is kinda unnecessary at this point.

A Free Teleport to South Falador at Varrock? Send them to Falador.

# The End
What now? This ending kinda just ends. I think we hold the players hand for longer and have them go Bossing or put them on a Main Quest line.

Also it doesn't improve any current existing content such as
(Rune Mysteries, While Guthix Sleeps, Kindred Spirits etc)

# Ashdale Tutorial
-I would expect it to be longer than some past/current tutorials, as it’s meant to be a full quest. Its length and status as an official quest I think would justify level 5 in certain skills as a reward.
-Level 5 is below the second tier of equipment, so players would still have to work toward that initial milestone.

# Lumbridge
-Legit point on lodestones. I’ll probably change it.
* While I like boat rides for the sake of realism, Port Sarim is the canonical arrival destination from Ashdale, so actually there would be no reason not to arrive in Lumbridge by lodestone.
-The interface tutorial could be automatically skipped on the mobile version of the tutorial.

Comparison with Burthorpe:
-When you say you prefer Burthorpe’s Mining and Smithing, are you including killing trolls and Morningstar, or just the part with making equipment?
-The Crafting path is meant to show how to make equipment for Magic, similar to the Mining & Smithing and the Fletching path. The purpose is equipment creation, not just the Crafting skill.
-The Burthorpe Slayer tutorial (Way of the Wizard) is pretty fun. I went on an alt account recently and played through it. I do not propose removing that path; players would still be able to do it when they explore Burthorpe later. However, I think Way of the Wizard has two drawbacks:
* First, it’s intended as a Slayer and Magic tutorial, but most of the gameplay isn’t specific to Magic. The only part that mechanically would require magic is casting Confuse on Magic Stick.
* Second, it’s more informative for general combat than for Slayer. The boss fight is the focus of that path rather than the gelatinous abominations. Only the abominations are relevant to Slayer, whereas Magic Stick is a regular combat monster who is not assigned by Turael.

# Quests
-I think there is a tradeoff between the older, classic quests and the more modern ones.
* One Piercing Note, Rune Mysteries, and Stolen Hearts are voice-acted and have a richer story than Cook’s Assistant, for example. Both approaches have something unique to offer and balance each other.
* Rewards can always be improved if there is not enough compensation for the player’s time.

# Varrock
-While Iron(wo)men can’t use the GE, I wrote the suggestions with completely new players in mind and assumed that most would be making regular accounts.
-Ironman accounts could begin the game with the Grand Exchange paths marked as complete.

# Clans
-I would never want to pressure someone into joining a group.
-The clan sequence is just about providing information so that players know it’s an option and how to access it.
* The part about viewing the clan list is nothing more than viewing. I didn't mean to imply that players would actually have to join a clan.

# The End
-Yeah it’s kind of abrupt as written. I have some ideas to smooth it out more.
-Along the way through each area, you’d get hints about other content to explore. Examples:
* Gudrik telling you that’s he’s heading to Port Sarim sets the player up for A Shadow Over Ashdale.
* Explorer Jack could give players a few hints about things to do around Lumbridge. This would segue into the various quests nearby.
* Captain Harlan would drop a tip about going to the Grand Exchange, leading into the Varrock paths.
* One existing example of this approach is Aoife Fairweather in Burthorpe, who informs the player about Divination and directs them to her sister in Draynor.
-Smaller tutorials would be distributed throughout the F2P game. Examples include:
* Runecrafting tutorial in Varrock, given by Aubury
* Farming tutorial given by Elstan south of Falador (replacing the current one by Head Farmer Jones in Taverley)
* Current Divination tutorial in Draynor
* Slayer tutorial (either by Turael or Jacquelyn)
