I have a valid suspicion that the information given about the drop rate of corrupt dragon items from Revenants may be incorrect. Rather than saying that they have a "2/revnumber chance to drop a Corrupt dragon item", it seems much more likely that EACH of the Corrupt dragon items have a 2/revnumber chance to drop (just like with the medium-levelled ancient artefacts).
Me and my brother have continously slain Revenants from the very early ages up to this day, and we have killed at least hundred thousands of Revenants in total. I am also in touch with many other people who frequently kill them, sharing our empirical observations about their drop rates. We together have gotten TONS of corrupt dragon items; I estimate the total amount of corrupt dragon drops just from the two of us to be somewhere between 100-200 (but it may be even more).
To give a relevant comparison of why this number doesn't seem to add up, the two of us have only got 4 brawling gloves drops in total (which has a 1/revnumber chance to obtain). It seems unlikely to get 100-200's of a kind of drop, which supposedly has only a double chance of receiving a brawler, of which we got 4 of in total. By this logic, we should have gotten around 8 corrupt dragon items in total (or slightly more/less, depending on our luck, but most definitely NOT 100-200's).
2/revnumber for receiving a Corrupt dragon item simply seems like a wayyyy too low chance to be true. The experience of my other revenant slayer friends, and the open rev drop logs (both on YouTube, and on Rs forums) also seem to underline my suspicion. They all seem to get Corrupt Dragon items far more frequently.
If any of you Jagex mods see this, can you look into this, and confirm/deconfirm my suspicion? You may prevent a possible incorrect info from circulating within the RS community.
