I used to get this mission very often, sometimes 2-3 times a week. I then left an unopened gift in my bank and the missions stopped completely. This was 5+ years ago, and even with daily port visits now, I've yet to see another Gu mission with that same unopened gift in my bank.


~A~ what a clanny told me to do was basically block/lock all other special voyages and the best way to do that is to (hopefully (for best results)) get a trio mission without tengu being a part of the group sending it out regardless of success rate (I would literally just send out an empty voyage with just a captain no crew or anything) and not completing the voyage when it returned so it forces tengu to appear as a story mission it's best to do a trio mission like I mentioned to lock out multiple stories then with any luck u get tengu pretty fast after I did that only took about 2 weeks for all tengu pieces because I forgot to check a few times

I don't know about you, but since achievements like Salty and Sandy require significant actual in game progress to obtain, plenty of players feel they are real sweet Achievements.

If everybody could use the easy to get POP Chimes to get them, Salty would be a sour achievements. If everything was easy and self-proclaimed HUGE, essentially they were all not so "huge". Not a good idea. what do u mean use the POP to get them? U need POP chimes to donate to tengu to get the gift of gu items for salty title anyways because u need to donate 25k chimes each gift of gu voyage so it statement doesn't make any sense?

I completed all the story voyages, it's just that the only voyages Tengu ever gives me is the resource one and never his special one you get the mask out of after the first time. I did open the gift of gu, so that's not the issue.

Back to ports chimes, they're pretty useless once you're done getting captains so unless they fix the rates to get the one chimes sink voyage multiple people apparently have issues getting, they'd need to add some other chime sink method to let you spend them fast enough to actually have a use for chime voyages long term. POP chimes are mostly useless for us who do POP voyages daily, but we can't assume everybody is doing the same thing. For the causal players who are sending out ship for 1 voyage per day or several days they may not have enough chimes.

Most D&Da and minigames currencies are in similar situations too. Once when we get enough Castle War tickets or Soul Wars Zeal, they become useless but not all currencies have to be useful all the time.
