Wait, there going to remove yak coins? i know its not so much of a "seasonal" event but its litterally a 2-3X event every year

Not to mention we still have artisan patches in currency pouch lol

The Travelling Artisan event is an on-demand only one, not the fixture recurring events like Yak Tracks that happen once every four months regularly.

scratch that, just logged in and saw that. Really makes no sense since its really every 3 month filler event

It's possible, that the coins were just an experiment - like the loot boxes surprise mechanics last time - which won't be re-continued next time. If this is the case it's more than fine they'll be removed timely - otherwise players will once again meet the limits of their currency pouches whenever they run plenty of promotions and/or events at once.

If they'll stick to endless tracks + those coins though... they should be kept. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

Yak coins are removed because otherwise it would be far too easy to save them up for high value items like shoulder capes.

Also, of course, it encourages people to buy more skip tokens the next time a Yak Track comes along (if it comes along at all).

So pretty much to show the carlyle group the profits from buying bonds to get more skips lol
