wildeness will ALWAYS be dominated by maxed level 130 mains. that's how it always was, ever since its inception in 2001.
just face it. PKing is not fair, it's not balanced, and its only fun when you can afford to lose your 50m worth gear
.
however.
being able to pickpocket other players in the wilderness is indeed a good idea and I support it

I have to disagree that 138s dominated the wild. You wouldn't even see one. Seeing a maxed player was rare (126). You'd largely see pures, specialists or mid level mains back then.
The types of players, types of accounts and combat level variation were impressively diverse.

Thanks for the support though. :)

another option: cap the daily amount of energy/memories an F2P player can gather.

A 1k daily cap would be worth ~ 250k for an f2p player selling it.
Granted, this comes with risk:
die and you lose whatever progress you made towards your cap
get the 1k daily and you have to repeat the process every day till you get to whatever goal you had

player killing doesn't go into the cap as players are risking in the wildy regardless. so a low or high level pker preying on botters would not have to worry about if they got 10k energy meaning they wouldn't be able to kill for more in the day

That's more like it! That can be the best solution for approval, but maybe we should go for various daily cap limits depending on the players level.

For example.
(Player's combat level - Amount of cursed energy collected per day - Money totaled from energy)
1-10: 50 energy (12.5k coins).
11-20: 100 energy. (25k coins)
21-30: 150 energy. (37.5k coins)
31-40: 200 energy. (50kk coins)

..and so on, 50 energy and 12.5k increased per every within 10 additional combat levels.
Each cursed energy should be 250gp each(or players already just did :p ).

That should solve the issues and make the game fair.

While I'm still impartial to the idea of bringing back Revenants (for reasons including, but not limited, to the Cursed problem), I have to say that I don't see any flaws in the idea of putting daily limits on it (especially tied to Total Level, like the Divine Locations-- huzzah, internal consistency!). I'd even argue that it should probably affect Members too, since while the bot problem on Members worlds isn't as bad, there's definitely more than enough of them there to warrant it. Plus the scarcity that such a cap would cause would make the stuff that actually gets harvested more valuable, making it more worthwhile for mid-high level legitimate players, skillers and non-skillers alike, to make the attempt.

It should be that if you kill a person with cursed energy, you get the div XP (maybe 80% of the energies become XP for you) immediately and a percentage of the energies becoming untradeable and sent directly to your bank. That would discourage the max pkers preying on people (no value for them to collect on) and encourage bot hunters as there's a legitimate reward for them.
