For those who don't know, Jagex are now going to charge us a 2% tariff on all we sell in GE.

What the hell is going on? Why are we being charged a 2% sales tax tariff on all we sell in GE? That is just so F****d up.

Doesn't Jagex charge us enough for Premium membership, so that now we are going to be losing out on money in GE as well?

If this sales tax continues I am going to seriously think about dumping the game after my prem membership runs out.

Why are you taking money from us like this? This is NOT real life...why do we have to now pay taxes in the game?

When the Uk owned the game they didn't do this, why is it that now the Americans have bought the game that we are suddenly hit with this tax.

We work hard in the game to make money and to up-trait our skill levels so now you are penalising us for working hard?

Indeed, along with reasons on why they did it (reducement of death costs needed a new gold sink to prevent harmful inflation).

We had Death Tax long before the "Americans" (actually Carlyle is a group of the biggest global investors, not just Americans) bought Jagex. Taxation in an online video game is incredibly common practice anywhere in the World.

Show them how much you hate the tax system not by telling them with words, but by trading exclusively outside of the Grand Exchange system. Jagex loves their numbers and statistics and they pad them in every possible way - you do anything once you're a person who enjoyed doing said content, regardless how much you rage against it on the forums.
