Construction needs an update so badly. There are so many great suggestions in this thread. Here are some of mine.

- Allow Players to store more pets in their Menagerie, and the ability to toggle which ones are visible/walking around, and which ones aren't.

- When a player in a POH Dungeon is killed, rather than being kicked out of the house completely, have them re-spawn at the exit portal inside the house.

- Improve kitchen appliances! Allow upgrades to the larder and shelves which provide players with even more ingredients and higher tier foods like Tuna or Sharks (the food would disappear from your inventory when you leave the house)

- Add a few more house portal options! Trollheim, Lunar Isle and Mobilizing Armies would be great choices.

- Perhaps give players the option of 'resting' in their own bed (they would not be able to rest in a friend's house). This would fully restore their Life Points and their Run Energy.

- Enhance the POH Dungeon experience! The ability to add even more monsters, such as Waterfiends, Dust Devils, Ankous and Vampyres. Also introduce the ability to build larger rooms and even agility shortcuts such a stepping stones over lava or cracks in walls.

- Graphically update EVERYTHING. Add more detail, more beauty, more interactions and more furniture!

I recall hearing something about Jagex doing a Construction skill revamp sooner or later, hopefully sooner rather than later I love messing around with my POH.

honestly, who trains the construction skill? its useless beyond the poh besides being requirements for quests

it isnt even required as a bonus for the player owned ports!

That's the issue that needs addressing, no skill should be perceived as useless and should have some use. As it stands, construction doesn't, which is a shame.

It has so much potential yet nothings happened. Hopefully the revamp that was suggested in Runefest last year happens sooner rather than later, i really like messing around with my poh and for it to have some additional functionality beyond that off the gilded altar and a dumping ground for holiday items I welcome.
