Yes, ages ago in a Q & A session Mod Emilee did say there would be maybe some minor updates to Construction in 2012. Obviously this skill is very low on the list. We have seen massive updates on RC, FM, landscaping graphics and soon the combat rework. Sad to say I bet we don't get any updates this year. The only hope is the new skill coming out in 6 to 12 months may be linked to construction,,, doubtful though.
As for my wish list... I would like to see a chest added in the Quest Hall to store most of the important quest reward items that are currently taking up space in the bank. I do think Jagex has done a good job adding storage of some new items and rewards stuff, events items and the like.
Increase max on number of rooms and just a few of the cool cosmetic graphics like we have in citadel be great to have. I'd like to have a roof top garden. Be nice to have a four-square great room or formal garden build option for higher level.
And my all time favorite update would be adding a tomato to the larder so we can have pizza parties! We got the tea and cake deal, but what goes best with a beer? Why pizza of course!

It would be nice to have more added to the Construction skill, when I stopped playing in 2007 and returned this year the only new addition to Construction was the Menagerie and the Dungeon pit which is disappointing considering it was and still is now one of my favourite skills.

I would like for flatpacks to have a percentage of value vs. cost to make, just like summoning pouches do. You can high alch or trade pouches in for some partial return on the cost to make them. Flatpacks have no real value to speak of, if you try to sell them on the GE it is evident. I think more people would be excited about it if there was a chance of some return on time and gp invested.

I am 99 Construction with a 250m+ house, but I wish there was more rooms or things to fill in the VAST space of land.
The land is like 100x100 and the house is limited to 7x7? (please correct me if needed. Quit RS3... OSRS for life! ;)

Well, as many of you that do Construction know, certain items can be right-clicked to show an 'Upgrade' button.
What I'm wondering is, why can we not do so with all items? If I have something in my house, e.g. that requires gold leaves, which are expensive, there is no way for me to check if I can replace it with something better since levelling up, without removing it.
Everything should have an upgrade option, in which you see the possibilities without removing the object.

Jagex has been giving us more pets and cosmetic rewards, but we don't have a place to store them! A bigger (2x2) menagerie so we could store more pets.
In an earlier post someone suggested an update to the quest/skill hall (so we could show off more trophies, rewards, ect.) and another person suggested like a "quest chest" were we could store our quest rewards.
Jagex, if you plan on keeping the SoF around (we all know you will) then you should make a new wardrobe for the SoF rewards or add space to the costume box.
A lot of things have changed (RuneSpan, Social Slayer, Bonfires, Combat Rework) its time that Construction got updated too!

Jagex gave up on Construction the day they made it.
Lol I will believe Jagex will Update construction the day they do it. I've heard countless times were updating it and nope nothing month after month year after year nothing. What was 6 years now and we've gotten I think 2 more rooms? How many more bosses floors ect has dungeoneering gotten?
What Construction does need is first and foremost a graphic update. My Yew trees are old looking. Walls are un-updated and its old style not RS HD.
We need Mahogany shelves, larder and kitchen table.
Possibly more teleports from ancient and lunar spellbooks? More rooms and or more detailed roms than squares. Maybe rounded so you could make a castle?
Update spiral stair cases They go to the ceiling make them look like lumbridges stairs so they go all the way not the old lumbridge. More stairs such as a mahogany? instead of mahogany and marble?

Theres been very few updates for construction I cane name them all its pathetic from a pathetic company.
1. Menagrie room
2. Pit dungeon
3. pin on entering build mode
4. updated chest from max of 1500 gp to 1m and to unlimited
Thats about it conctruction was made in 2006 now its 2012...... :(
