I'd do it by adding in 2-3 more slots, then making so that rings with the same effect don't stack, when a combat ring is equipped, the higher of the two is used, not the sum or them, etc. Things like that, to prevent it from being abused. It'd allow us to equip, say... ring of wealth, 6th age, and ring of like. Or any combination of 3 you want. It'd add another layer to gear customization (which, lets face it: Doesn't exist because Tierscape happened).

I'd also support adding a second pocket slot (make use of both butt pockets!), but no equipping two signs or two scrims. Only using one AND the other, or like having bonecrushed and imp equipped at once. Things like that.
