OOG: What's the time scale in CYOC? 1day to 1year or what?
--------
Tartan's fleet sailed around the UST's mainland and met up with a small force of UST ships(total of 25 ships). Behind them were 5 cargo ships to provide immediate relief to UST forces. However, as they began to approach the UST's southern most, large port city of Sculus island, Marin's fleet was sitting to intercept them(total of 33 ships).
Tartan's ships opened fire with rail guns from long range, prompting Marin's few railgun equipped ships to return fire. Marin's fleet moved in to close the distance first, and once the two fleets were roughly 18 miles apart, both sides opened fire with anti-ship missiles. However, anti-ballistics and anti-missile guns rendered them useless. After that, Marin's full sized ships opened fire with their main guns and rail guns, as did the UST/Tartan ships. After the tin-can ships had gotten within 14 miles, already having lost 3 ships and taken moderate damage to several others, the tin-can ships opened fire and all planes were launched. The UST/Tartan forces did the same, and a full scale air and sea battle was soon at hand. More planes arrived from the UST mainland, giving them a slight edge in battle. However, once the tin-can fleet had closed the gap, a hail of missiles shot off, hitting many of the ships and prompting the UST/Tartan fleet to expend a large amount of their anti-ballistic missiles.
Half an hour later, 2 Marin battleships, 17 tin-cans, 90 Marin planes, 4 Tartan destroyers, 1 Tartan aircraft carrier, 3 UST destroyers, and 76 UST/Tartan planes were destroyed/sunk. However, 5 of Tartan's destroyers, 2 of UST's destroyers, 1 of Marin's battleships, and 6 tin-cans were stranded due to damages. The remaining Tartan/UST forces signaled for surrender and began retreating as fast as possible, due to severe damages. The remaining Marin ships were given orders not to pursue the enemy and instead to rescue the remaining sailors.
