Oh good, someone else has finally posted. I've got another project to do.
Belozay now begins the project to end all projects. After completion of this next defense mechanism, the Mojave shielding system will be completely indomitable.
One of the most impressive aspects of FOG, in my mind, was its ability to detect the intent of whatever entered it. For those who are new or don't remember, if you entered the FOG without ill intentions, you passed right through it fine. But if you went in planning to do harm to the bearer underneath, you were lost in the fog forever. That seems like the next logical step for any type of superior shielding, and that's my aim. The Divine Intent Detector does just what it sounds like it should do.
The current Mojave system is able to reasonably suspect certain things about entities entering its range already, but not detect precise human intent. The first part of the DID system would allow the shield to sense and interpret brain waves of all intelligent life in its range, and react in response faster than any human could. For example: Lets say there's a shield system, and a person with a missile. As soon as the person thinks about firing the missile to cause harm to Belozay or their interests, the DID system would recognize this and instantly turn the missile into jam. Simple as that. But here's the kicker, the DID system would also connect the Mojave system to the Oculum, meaning it could detect such things all over the universe. This system was designed due to growing concerns of teleportation being weaponized, but now nullifies such a threat, as the intent to do so would be detected and dealt with. There is one startling weakness to the system, but I won't mention it. Not yet.
OLPS - 50%
DID - 12.5%
