Types of Soldiers: Turmarum Mortis or TM: The "death squads" split into two groups; the regular Turmarum Mortis, who serve as the secret police and crack down on dissenters, and the Regia Turmarum Mortis who protect Taltarian
Raptors: Paratroopers who serve as the Iberian special forces
Tortoises: These are amphibious capable soldiers who guard the coast.
The General Infantry: Also called the "tan-heads" because of the color of their helmets, these fine men and women serve as the backone of the rest of the military.
Military Tech (weapons and defence): In addition the simple technology available to most countries in 2014 Iberia has several unique military installations.
The coastline is heavily fortified, with all major ports guarded by heavy gun batteries.
The mountain passes to the rest of Europe are all heavily fortified as well.
The Iberian Navy has several aircraft carriers which carry ground-attack fighters.
The navy also has several ships capable of sustained bombardments, in addition to amphibious landing craft.

On the orders of the supreme Taltarian, all Turmarum Mortis shall now have the unrestricted powers to search, seizure and indefinite detention without trial. Any resistance to their authority will be taken as direct defiance against the Taltarian.

These extreme measures come in wake of an urgent need due to the current political climate in the region.

To all nations who find it relevant:

The United Territories of Iberia Henceforth claim that all international peacekeeping efforts in the western Mediterranean are now exclusively Iberian Jurisdiction. All peacekeeping efforts will be carried out by Iberian military personal only.

This declaration also grants the right to Iberia to occupy all countries that pose a significant risk to international peace, and will take significant military measures to exercise this right.

Any country that wished to assist in peace keeping operations are welcomed to assist, but only under strict Iberian guidance.

Pertinent to the orders of operation [REDACTED] all branches of the military are to now begin operations to significantly increase the size and effectiveness of our countries military.

These include:
-A now mandatory 3-year conscription for all adults 18 years or older
-The development of fully, or at least partially, submersible tanks and APC's
-The construction of a fully armed invasion fleet, able to land a million men
-A large increase in garrison along the border with France, including increased fortifications and air patrols.
- Research into strategically deployable nuclear weapons that minimize collateral and fallout.
-Development of a faster and more heavily armored tank to increase combat effectiveness.
-The beginning of a space program to establish a space station with possible military applications.
-Construction of large gun batteries in Gibraltar, capable of firing over the strait.
-Deployment of several new carrier groups throughout the Mediterranean to increase our sphere of influence.
-Construction of a particle collider, for research into possible military applications.
-Significant research into antimatter as a means for power production and use in weapons.
-Establishment of a more intricate observation network throughout Iberia to keep an eye on the populace
-The integration of propaganda into the school system to help boost morale.

Atlantis has expressed concern over the new government in Spain, we have also notified them that we will not obey the first part of the Decree from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and will continue any peacekeeping missions we wish.

OOG: Use HFPE if you want to hide something from us, otherwise we're entitled to act upon it.
