I'm only concerned about the size and scale of the map outlines, others have only selected systems. You have like a forth of a galaxy color coded saying "Neran Galactic Lands." I mean the size is roughly 10 kly by 20kly, which is ridiculous, no other player owns that much space.

Then again, its just my opinion, and concern.

Very few systems would contain an Earth-like planet, so the actual amount of planets I control is deceptively low. However, I agree that this may hinder the expansion of newer countries. To prevent a jarring non-IG territory change, I can use the invasion plot to shrink the territory to perhaps 1/3 of its current size.

I don't see this becoming a problem unless other players try to claim similar amounts of space through puppet states or otherwise. Even with that much of the galaxy already claimed it would take a significant amount of new players to ever fill up the galaxy (presuming they follow the 150 planet/system rule.).

Sadly, no, that motion was passed before I made the claims. Technically speaking, my original claims were/are valid as I historically only claimed parts of planets, hence they wouldn't be affected by the limit, but if the possibility of galactic land running out becomes an issue, I'm willing to cede most of my territory.

My two cents is that this seems like a reasonable extension of the current rule.

Or, at least, it will be if we interpret "star systems" in this instance to be systems in which at least one planet is orbiting the star in question.

If that's what you intended Sith, I support it fully, otherwise I'm going with my own modification.

I assume that if one controls a single planet in a system without controlling the whole system, it counts as controlling the system?

I'd say that it just depends if another person is in the system as well, and if there are NPC powers on it.
