All of southern and eastern Laos has been captured with heavy casualties on both sides. Reserve units are being sent into occupy the captured land as the main force advances. Police units are also being sent in to help keep the peace in the occupied land. A large amount of Vorno citizens have formed a militia to resist Tanician forces. Their efforts are not at the moment significantly holding up the invasion but they could prove to be a problem after the war.

The entire coast of Burma (other than an exclusion zone around Porschestan's naval bases) has been captured including the capital Yangoon. Vorno’s wet fleets have all been destroyed, captured or crippled except for a small force that is blockaded in Vorno’s various small pacific islands; this will be dealt with later. The invasion of Burma is progressing slower than the attack through Laos, but it is still proving to be useful as it has forced Vorno to split its defences.

As the ground war advances the battle in space still rages. The 2nd and 4th fleet are managing told successfully hold of the Vorno earth fleet to allow the ground invasion to continue. The 5th and 6th fleet have been facing heavy casualties as they battle for control of Saturn’s SOI. This is until the 7th and 8th fleets arrive to reinforce the invasion. With the new reinforcements the invasion of Saturn starts to pick up momentum with Tanician forces managing to cripple one of the Vorno fleets.

The TG raiding bands are causing significant issues for Vorno forces. Infrastructure is being destroyed, units are being ambushed and the TG members are in general causing trouble. The kill teams with support from agents have managed to kill 3 generals in charge of the defence of Laos, and 4 in charge of defending Burma. The deaths of these officers caused Vorno’s defence to become disorganised in early stages of the invasions, allowing Tanician forces to capture key locations.

The only issue with South Sudan is most of the world recognized the nation and its vote for independence. If Crimea is to stay Ukrainian in this game, then it takes the burden from action that would have to be taken.

Ah, ok. The defense treaty makes sense. As long as you have no formal control over the entire region is fine. Security interest and defense is fine per the Motions governing Space.

Because I don't own many systems (atm 2, soon to be 5) I will just have Tanicia's sphere of influence on the map and the approximate locations of the systems.

(including the three soon to be claimed systems because I don't want to make two maps)

The Planetary Systems limit in BoSS Motion 10 will be removed. Players will be able to claim as many systems as they wish until they reach the 150 planet limit.

I think this motion will simplify the game for players, as well as organize things. I don't think it makes sense for nations to have 15 systems, then random planets scattered around the galaxy, no?

Well Nera does have de jure control over most of them (with the exception of the FFS, the periphery, and the eastern reaches, which together form ~30% of the area), but in only a few sectors does the Neran government have much de facto power (similar to the authority of Governors-General in the Commonwealth).

I think the original goal of the motion was to prevent having to list every planet you own in a system, should you own the entire system. I believe a better solution would be to allow the claiming of, say, 10 systems, the contents of which would not add to your planet count, and then another 150 planets on top of that.

I think it makes more sense to have a planet limit and still sort it into various systems. The way it currently is seems somewhat disorganized, as well as having 150 more planets not included in the systems.

D Chip, I just looked at you map and that is a HUGE expanse. I don't think you should be able to claim that much of the galaxy, or say that puppet states of yours that you essentially control own that much land. The motion states that only 150 planets or a few star systems, not entire galaxy arms.

I'm only concerned about the size and scale of the map outlines, others have only selected systems. You have like a forth of a galaxy color coded saying "Neran Galactic Lands." I mean the size is roughly 10 kly by 20kly, which is ridiculous, no other player owns that much space.

Then again, its just my opinion, and concern.

What Flyby has a great representation of what the map should be, not actual claims, but a sphere of influence.

And for the Motion, The limit for systems should go to 150 star systems, mainly because there is at least one planet per star.

I believe 123 owns multiple galaxies but he has been able to keep them because the land was grand fathered. I think that if D chip already owned the land before the limit came into place he can keep them but he shouldn't be able to gain anymore unless circumstances deem it necessary.
