HFPE: Hidden From Public Eyes -> AKA, secret or classified and can't be acted upon by other nations.

OOG: Out Of Game -> Often depicted in RP forums as double parentheses, it's meant for non-game related comments. A lot of us don't bother to use it unless there's commentary on something in-game that we feel should be in the same body of text as a in-nation piece.

The only problem with your great plan, Glock, you said you were attacking our planets, we have no planets. All of the ones previously under the control over Atlantis, are now controlled by various Dominions, (or the Ophir Trade Company).

Did you mean that you were attacking our Earth lands? If I'm not mistaken, it's not permitted to change Earth's geography.

Another day/year advancement.

News Report - Government keeping no secrets, their work is all here!

Project SpaceHole (Reusable and properly landable spacecraft capable of going through the wormhole to the Earth.) - 8 years.

Project Black Hole (Deep study of black holes) - 58 years.

Project Gullibility Removing (The name says it itself, no more scams are gonna work that well in our community. Long going war, being fought hard.) - 28 years.

Ah, I'd add so many more projects but the vast majority of the population is working on Project SpaceHole, and whats left is on Project Gullibility Removing. Anyone else able to work, which isn't much, is working on the government program in Project Black Hole. These are extreme studies, and until Project SpaceHole is complete its gonna be hard work. Knowing that, it's clear that this is a difficult task. But being a background project, its tough anyways.

Anyways, We are looking forward to a mutual benefit with many of the people on the other end of the wormhole, (We don't know earth is past there yet, but we do know there is an earth there!) and hopefully trade various technologies and information! :)

However, there have been rumors which the government ignores and politely asked us to refrain from stating to the public as they are ludicrous and to be ignored.

Reports on the new colonies in the Orion Nebula have been released from the Arrentinian government towards the progress occurring on the four colony worlds of Orionis Zal, Armas Zil, Dag'Ron Tog, and Palavan. The report is broken down by colony:

Orionis Zal - The colony has survived its first major test after a recent volcanic eruption caused cooling of the planet. The colony survived with little damage and saw large crop loss though. However, the colonial government sent an aid request minutes after the eruption and multiple simulations showing crop failure as a result. The colony's government is now hiring a prominent Arrentinian Mining company who first did scan of Dag'Ron Tek to look at mineral wealth and the possibility of mining.

Armas Zil - The colony is thriving with industrial production capabilities growing quickly to improve the green house effect. 21st century methods of industrial production is being used to pump CO2 into the atmosphere in order to warm the planet for increased growth. Geologist have also discovered that the planet had a Carboniferous setting roughly 20-45 million years ago (game time) that showed the planet had a temperature of 25-30 degrees Celsius and a very humid atmosphere.

Dag'Ron Tog - The planet is thriving as the new bread basket of the Arrentinian state. The growth of various produce and agricultural products has made the planet thrive. The planet is being set up with various defensive installations in orbit along with on the surface to secure all means of assaulting the produce of the colony world.

Palavan - The colony has encountered numerous hardships. Crop failures and lack of interest in the planet for industrial activities has made development hard. The Arrentinian Defense Force is planning on establishing the planet as a military world with heavy industrial activity and ship building. Much like Dag'Ron Tek before the civil war destroyed the planet.

In other reports, the Arrentinian Defense Force has announced the release of the new Defensive Net technology. The Defensive Net is expected to receive a larger upgrade within the next twenty years as leading physicist, quantum mechanics, engineers, quantum engineers and other scientist begin working on version 2 of the DN. (Specs found in my app).

Along with Defensive Net, the Arrentinian Defense Force has established six new ships for Arrentinian Defense. (all ships are protected by Defensive Net and have FTL abilities). The ships are:

Armas Battlecruiser (HW2 Hiigarian Style BC) - Contains two pairs of dual ion/plasma/High energy laser cannons, six missile bays and a small hangar for fighter/bomber class ships. Contains DN shielding, Fire control tower, and Relay Network Tech and hyperspace tech after leaving the relay network (Relay Network in a on way trip OUT of Arrentine Major, can't be reversed engineered to gain entry to Arrentine Major). Size is 5KM

Krandoran Crisuer - considered a capital ship, but used as an escort to the BC fleet. have 12 missile bays, and 2 cannons much like the BC. Size is roughly 3200 meters long.

Gemini Class Cruiser - Escort class ship used in quick strike capabilities. Roughly 2,600 meters, armaments contain missile bays and anti-fighter/bomber turrets. Quick and agile, meant to destroy larger foes. HFPE: Quantum movement abilities are also placed to allow phasing abilities, very hard to destroy these ships).END of HFPE

Orionis Class Flagships - 45KM long ship, to be build by NPE for the Arrentinians (Talked to 123 about this one). The ship will be built with Arrentinian design specifications, but will use NPE weapons.

I just have to say, I find it highly amusing that I don't remember Sith adding any really new features to any of his defensive technologies in the two and a half years or so of CYOC I've played... until I started posting the in-depth descriptions of my high-end technologies at the end of last thread.

I feel this is an achievement to be at least the very least moderately proud of.

(At least, until Wayne comes along with some of his projects).

ITS CALLED NEGLECT. I'm giving it some TLC right now that it wholeheartedly deserves. I'm making it my 'NOPE' Shield, which should be done my the End of February once I figure out the rest of the flaws it has. Its my 5 year old shield, and now its my 5 year old 'NOPE' shield.

Which gives me an idea...

Project NOPE has started.
HFPE
Project NOPE is an active denial system meant to prevent anything, anyone ANYTHING from getting through. When war is waged, Designated planets an regions will be protected from invading forces through various quantum mechanics that today's physics can't explain. Project NOPE is essentially a shield designed to safeguard large population centers and strategic areas from falling while forces are built up to defend the region if/when invading forces get past the NOPE. Project NOPE is designed to create the NOPE shield, a shield that transports the region physically to a different region of space-time and places in it a phase shield. On the outside, it looks like the most HORRIFYING OF THINGS. It looks at each individual and determines what scares them the most, and creates a photo-realistic image of that thing in an amplified terror form. Scientist have gave it the name NOPE as some of them ran out of the room screaming "NOOOOOOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE" after seeing some of the things projected.

OOG: I may have crossed a line and have this shield be considered a war crime in today's standards.

I know it's called neglect; I just find it mildly interesting that fixing said neglect (which apparently wasn't important enough to fix until this thread, though you would have been well aware of it before then) includes apparent counters to everything I dumped facts on at the end of last thread - some counters that would be completely pointless were it not for some of my releases, since they wouldn't be defending against anything anyone has but those.

To quote xkcd: correlation doesn't imply causation, but it does waggle its eyebrows suggestively and gesture furtively while mouthing 'look over there'.

Not, of course, that I am in any way suggesting there is anything negative about fixing technological neglect or attempting to counter other player's technology.

I just find the whole situation marginally amusing.

The true reason was teleportation...That stuff could have gotten out of hand. So I made my shield able to prevent that. The other stuff just got better. It could always do the other stuff, except prevent against quantum tunneling, teleportation, and phase dimensional transitions. I really only started caring this thread really.

Also doesn't help when my projects and upgrades come from the mind of someone taking a Quantum mechanics course, and as studied Classical Mechanics an physics for 3 years. Makes things easier when you have the mind of a physicist. Just able to come up with the ability to know about quantum tunneling is a huge step in safeguarding things.

But Project NOPE will be my new shield likely. Its probably going to be a first resort shield. Because NOPES.

Also, for your safety, read Project NOPE's description in the morning or day. But never at night. That is nightmare fuel stuff.
