HFPE-ish

Faron sat, alone, in an abandoned room on the fourth primary floor of the R’ni tower.

”Any second now.” he thinks, his eyes staring coldly at the single door into the room. He had been careful to be subtle in his leaving of traces for this ops group. There was of course, little question on their origin. The TGE had effectively given their blessing on his takeover, the IMO lacked the technology to infiltrate in this fashion, and there was only one other group which had the potential to lose anything in this shift of leadership.

The Nerans.

The door to the room seemed to simply fall, as if it had simply been leaning against the top of the doorframe and had simply been pushed over. Faron saw the slight distortion on a few frequencies as the soldiers moved into the room, securing it and ensuring he was surrounded.

“I do not appreciate The Banks attempting to interfere with R’ni national business- Less so when it is my personal business as well.” Faron says smoothly, staying seated in his chair. Uncaring, the elf summons a card into the air above his hand, making it levitate as light bursts out from it, engulfing the card is if it was burning in a blue-white fire.

The card spins slowly about above his palm, crackling with energy as Faron finishes his address of the forces gathered about him.

“You are not welcome here, and this is the one warning you get. Neran shares will drop in value temporarily, but I have good reason to think that it will not be solely my fault- a shift in the power on this planet is about to occur, and not just the power in MAT. If you want that shift to occur without undue strain upon the relations between the Chairman and the Neran investors, you will restrain yourselves from interfering with my efforts. Otherwise, you may find that this autonomous state has a valid reputation for being brutal and cutthroat. Should your Ministry wish to talk further on this topic with me, they can reach me through more official channels.”

With this final declaration, the Elf clenches his fist, crushing the card that had been floating above it. Immediately, each of the ESSS members feel their muscles cease receiving instruction, their bodies collapsing to the ground as their muscles refuse to respond to the impulses sent by their respective brains.

As if he had not just disarmed an elite force of foreign militants, Faron casually sidesteps the still-invisible forms of his hunters and exits the building, walking briskly in the direction of the lifts up to the higher levels of R’ni.

He still had things to do today and could not spend undue time with these meddlers- He need to prepare the Horde before Thursday, and Aylss had asked him to dinner after they had prepped the last few things for their endgame, scheduled for next week.

"There's no rest for the wicked." Faron mumbles to himself.

HFPE:

Uncertainty Cloak: 1 Years
Liquid Singularity Armour: 11 Years
Exodus: 4 Years

The Domia Abr Wyrda is complete.

Sekhmet, Monumental Sin and Cortana have all finished.

End HFPE.

I will describe these four projects later, when I have time to write them up fully.

HFPE:

Three billion LAAVs and SOAVs (one point five billion of each) have been shipped to MAT LP for analysis and observation, to assist the company in the further development of their Empyrean line of projects as they see fit; the shipment also contains a few thousand Cataclysm warheads, partially for MAT LP to study and partially so they may use them as they see fit in the defence of their interests.

End HFPE.

MAT LP has expanded their regular large shipments of exports to the Strannaxi in order to assist in their continued development into a respected nation. (As one of the very few "nations" who will engage in trade with the Strannaxi and thus far, we have decided to increase our profits by expanding our trade with them.)

HFPE Except the Strannaxi:

In keeping with previous agreements, your upcoming shipments will include an Energy Gabriel's Horn Generator optimized for your power generation. In addition, we will be sending you the shipment of LAAV's, SOAV's, and assorted armament we recently received in order to fulfill the remainder of our contracts.

It has been a pleasure doing business with you.
END HFPE

HFPE: Blacklist: Monumental Sin

A monument to our sins, we gods two - all weapons are spent, all lives are through.

This scrap of verse is not an exaggeration. This name we have chosen, it is entirely apt:

It is a sin against the religions of the gods who have caused it to be forged.

Monumental Sin is the name of the Twin Gods' Empire's most hideous and terrible last-resort weapon. An invasive organism which parasitically clings to hosts with unstable molecular bonds which fuse to the host and make it a literal part of the body, causing the parasite's own circulatory, respiratory and endocrine systems to connect with those of the host and requiring separation of parasite from host to be potentially lethal--on the host's part, at least.

This parasite is comprised of the infamous semi-organic nanites originally composed by Sparkadia, and then later dramatically enhanced by the Ascendant Kingdom. However, this organism is formed of a far more sinister combination of cells than any Godking Marcus has ever created or even allowed to be created.

It is fully self-regenerative to a terrifying degree; one surviving cell can create a whole new organism in the space of seconds, and one can only shudder at what numbers could spawn from the billions of atoms in this organism, despite its disarming size--that of a soccer ball, were you so morbidly curious as to ask.

The organism conveys itself across surfaces on adhesive protrusions that allow it to cling to any surface, and allow it to move at speeds that are sincerely horrifying for a living creature. It is capable of surviving the ravages of space, the heat of plasma and many other harmful elements.

This parasite engages its chosen host with an invasive probe formed by nanites converted to an incredibly high density, allowing them to pierce metals and even many forms of shielding.

This probe contains a neural stimulator, which fires the host's neurons in sequence, causing it to move as the parasite wishes it to (as is programmed into its mechanical half).

The probe also releases enhanced bacterial nanites designed to mutate the cells they interact with, allowing them to manipullate the host's form as they see fit and to the same extent as the nanites themselves can be modified.

These nanites are also capable of integrating with non-living hosts and affecting them in a similar fashion, and exerting control over the host by way of accessing its control systems and modifying them to become slaved to the organism's whim.

The host loses all motor control, and well as verbal capacity and higher mental functionality. They retain the sensations of their body and their emotional capabilities, making for the most monstrous feature of Monumental Sin: the host is fully aware of what is happening to them.

HFPE: Blacklist:

COVENANT OF SPARKADIA [HOLY DOMINION OF THE TWIN GODS' EMPIRE], ALAR CLOAK ALPHA-ZERO

In the space between worlds, the vast, nebulous void where space, time and reality are not so much truth but rather the subject of questions, there exists a object. It is perfectly smooth and perfectly spherical, and hangs wholly and entirely still in the almost-literal nothingness that surrounds it; it does not rotate, drift, or even move. It is, in fact, only distinguishable against the backdrop for two reasons - one, rather than being purely black, it is a deep, shimmering steel, like a polished, gleaming blade, and two, it is the size of Sparkadia.

Sparkadia the planet, that is.

Deep inside the gargantuan object, there stands a man--if, indeed, he could be truly thought of as a man at all--by the name of Magery. He is tall, built to the scale of myth and legends rather than mere mortality, and the very vacuum around him seems to sizzle with suppressed power.

He reaches forward, and his hand lightly depresses the button before him, slow and languid. There is a brief moment of silence, and then the entire planet-sized sphere around him springs to life, trillions of Energy Slivers providing the necessary power to activate the single greatest individual construction in the history of the Covenant, or indeed the Empire itself:

The first SEKHMET-class AI, False Humility .

Comprised solely of quantum computational units linked together over the Quantum Fortress (and linked out to every other system part of the Fortress), bleeding-edge gestalt AI/consciousness technology, with Energy Slivers, QECs, a planetary-class Aegis system, kilometres of neutronium-carbon fibre composite plating and all the processing power a planet-sized AI implies, False Humility is the new supreme operational commander for the TGE military and cyberwarfare divisions.

End HFPE: Blacklist.

PROJECT CORTANA

The pinnacle of the TGE's gestalt consciousness engineering, a CORTANA-class AI is constructed from Kvothe's (in his current incarnation) mental patterns, and then augmented and manipulated to form a separate mental entity with the latest advances in the TGE's AI technology (such as those pioneered in the construction of the Sekhmet-class AI False Humilty ), transforming it into the most advanced non-singular AI the Empire possesses.

It is then re-integrated into the mind of Kvothe, effectively tripling his processing capacity (tripling due to the fact the CORTANA-class AI is specifically designed to counter the few mental weaknesses Kvothe has as well as to augment his brainpower), furthermore allowing his mind to act on multiple levels (for instance, he can devote fully half of his mind to cyberwarfare whilst maintaining optimum combat functionality; when combined with the AEGIS-class AI in the Hyperion Warsuit, his capabilities expand even further) beyond that which it could already do.

Further information can be found in the REDACTED sections of the Kvothe and Hyperion Warsuit dossiers.

Furthermore, the gestalt mental entity (the Kvothe-CORTANA-class-AI -hybrid) created by the Project is fully linked to the aforementioned SEKHMET-class AI False Humility at all times.
