lol this brings back memories
my first acc i lost was lvl 86,back in 2004 i remembered dying at goblins and only got some of my items back, then i learned how to use bank, realised i didnt actually have to carry everything in my backpack lol!
and im forever grateful for a higher lvl guy who showed me a safer place to mine tin * copper than in alkharid-- found out bout varrock then.

Though not quite a noob story as such, one day a higher leveled player gave me a mithril scimitar when I was 18 attack (at the time when you needed 20 to wield) and I felt so rich and worked really hard to get level 20 attack to wield that scimmy. And then later, I passed it on for free to other, lower level player.

I feel I'm alright to share this here as I've already posted a few noob stories on this thread. No doubt I'll think of more noob stories, I had a fair few moments.

A noob story.

When I was a noob wearing my 1st full rune armor set carefully killing Tzhaar in Tzhaar, I spotted that one very low level Tzhaar (the mage guy) thot he would be an easier kill (I was eating so many darned sword fish in there).

So, I attacked him. The flashy mage attack hit lit up my RS window and scared me, I had no idea what had just happened. I went froze w/ surprise. Then, just as I was noticing that all the other nearby Tzhaars had suddenly started attacking me too, I died.

Lost my 1st ever full rune armor set. I was so miffed. So I rage squatted in a store. I spent the next 3 days in game, just standing in Varrock general store (that was back when there was more activity in the Varrock general store) chatting w/ friends (xp waste).

Since then, I often wondered who got my rune armor, lol.

When I was a noob, I didn't know maps existed, so I just used to get myself killed to go back to Lumbridge (This was before home teleports as well haha) :P

When I was a noob, back in 2003, I was conned into trading my Santa Hat for two uncut diamonds. Granted, back then the hat was worth 40k, I still got ripped off.

This happened like 8 or 6 years ago.

A in game friend, who was leaving the game for good, decided to give me a H'ween mask for free. I thought of selling it the next day for ge price as i never saw 150-300M, dont remember price but it was huge. Since I never saw 150-300M, I didn't know back then that 100M or greater is displayed as green.
