When I was a noob, I tried to join the wizard's tower.

When I was a noob, I was insulted by one of the pub cooks, so I did all I could to get "revenge" on the cook. (As a joke, the pub cook is my personal nemesis)

When I was a noob, I reported someone for calling me a noob for no reason.

When I was a noob, I had 4k and thought I was one of the richest players in existence.

When I was a noob, I kept on accidentally clicking on trees, which made me get 4 woodcutting before I got off tutorial island.

When I was a noob, I thought addy was the best armor in the game.

When I was a noob, I sang ad-libbed songs about runescape

Well, that's a few things I did when I was a noob.

when i was a noobier noob than i am now, i didnt know about the GE and bought everything from stores

when i was a noob, I got lost on the way from lumbridge to varrock

when i was a noob, i thought that, unless i click "save layout" on the menu before i log out, all my progress will be lost

when i was a noob, i declined the trade for someone who wanted to give me 100k because I thought that I could easily make that money in like 5 minutes

When I was a noob, I didn't trust the bank and I used to keep all my items on me, at all times (wasn't that hard when i was just killing goblins. Then I upgraded to cows..)

When I was a noob, I used to be afraid of going to Varrock, because the black wizards outside killed me easily.

when i was a noob, i freaked out when i lost my full black at bounty hunter. didnt play for a long time after that

when i was a noob, i thought my account was only for runescape. i made a separate account for funorb and later tried to create my funorb account in runescape

when i was a noob, my brother told me you could only become a temple knight if you guessed the right number in a question and that you only had one chance. i believed him.

when i was a noob, i discovered runescape at some point and tried to log in without creating an account first

when i was a noob, i didnt know account sharing was illegal (convinced my brother to stop playing on my account when i realized)

when i was a noob, i mindlessly told my pass to anyone who asked. i lost 2 accounts that way

when i was a noob, my brother convinced me that there was a type of armor higher than dragon called "elf". he also convinced me that vanakka wore full elf

when i was a noob, i thought the forums was a strategy guide

when i was a noob, i checked the gift of peace at the stronghold of security and stared in awe at my new riches

when i was a noob, i was very proud when i finished dragon slayer and got my first rune platebody

I guess I'll bump this.


When I was a noob, I would talk to almost every NPC I could find. Which led me to giving away some money I didn't have to, away to tramps. I was slightly intimidated by one who would consistently rant about a player who wouldn't give him money.

Now that I see it, I think it's a good "take that, beggars!"

When I was a noob I didn't know how noted items worked, so I went into the wilderness with 500 noted lobbys a friend gave me (back then they were worth more) and died immediately.

I also ragequit for several weeks when I lost my first 20k to a scorpion king.


Edit: This is a really awesome thread idea, I could read these for hours ^_^

When I was a noob I died from a ram.
When I was a noob I looked at fist of Guthix as the most awesome thing ever.
When I was a noob I got stuck in tutorial island because I couldn't right click on a mac.
When I was a noob my friend wanted me to leave Varrock where I was training on thieves eating the cabbages and I didn't want to leave because I didn't know the way back.
When I was a noob I used to look at Mithril weapons in the general store as overpriced.
When I was a noob I used to die from dark wizards on the way "North". (didn't have any destination)
When I was a noob I used to think that a Dragon dagger (P++) meant that you could kill anything by attacking and running for your life.
When I was a noob I used to think hill giants would make me enough to buy a Godsword and started saving up for the shards.
When I was a noob...wait...I still am!!!! =D (here is to never becoming pro!)
