When I was a noob I asked people if they would tell me my level. I told them they were wrong and that I was level 15 or w/e. I later found out that was my health and not my level.
Another one I did was I carried my bank around with me because I literally thought I could only put my money in the bank.
Edit: Typo in first paragraph that made the paragraph make no sense.

When I was a noob, I used to think a bronze sword & Wooden shield meant that i was rich. Then i was at Varrock one day & By mistake i attacked the guard & I died. Then my friend told me to hold his 650k because he was going to go to the wild to kill people. Then, i felt so rich & i traded 650k for a holy symbol. LOL true story.

When I Was A Noob, I, Well, I Was Actually Pretty Good, All of my brothers played it before me, and I was told what to do for a while, and have been brought up into this aspiring Runescape player today.

My Only failing was when I was told that Pure Essence Was Useless, and should hand it over to a runecrafter, I handed over 7m worth of pure ess to a level 43.

When I was a noob, I'd collect that mind (or body maybe, I don't remember) rune on the first floor of lumbridge castle to make money. While I'd wait for it to respawn, I'd steal stuff from the kitchen too.

Okay, my noob days are real hard to remember, but I just thought of one.

When I was a noob, I didn't know how to make money. So I decided to get a job, working for someone. The guy told me to go mine ore, so I brought it back to him and he said to note it. I thought, "what's a note?" but then I realized that Rs had that little note button at the end of the bar on the bottom of the screen. So I clicked it, added a note and wrote "28 bronze ore".

I got paid, but only because he taught me what a bank note was.

Sigh...True Story.
