I think this thread has a lot of potential for creativity and interaction, but my biggest gripe is how each post is stand-alone.
The first post doesn't expect us to continue from or be based on the previous post, which I think is shame, as those are the most fun. Most people probably do get inspired by what the previous person wrote, which I think is good not only because it gets your creativity juices flowing, but also because you get to acknowledge their presence with an allusion in your post, which also helps to build community.
