Good! Lol, don’t get one of these tho. They’re just awful

How long did you learn for? You’re right, the lessons are ridiculously expensive. I remember the cheapest at the time being around £30/hour but imagine it’s skyrocketed now thx to brexxy

Thanks for the ride 0815
so tumblr o my

Did you have your license? From what I’ve seen in films and such, a lot of people get theirs through school, idk if it’s true tho lol. Gotta be 17 here to start learning, 16 for a moped. & ow your leg, that’s one of the worst bones to break lol, hope it left you with no outstanding injuries. & manual is cool, but I feel like it might die in the future. Well automatic too, self driving carz r coming. Not long now til we can flyyyyy

Hmm, four months or so I think? Not too long really. At £24 an hour for me then, I can't really complain :P . But when you have to pay over £60 for the test itself, and £48 for the theory test, it soon mounts up. I completed the theory part in August, then started learning in September - I just wanted to get on with it really.

I should just use my laptop for the forums in future. :P

Oh that's pretty awesome. & only 4 months :O did you have longer lessons then? Yeah the tests really add up, especially if you fail multiple times - one of my friends went 2 years of double sessions and failing countless times lol. Safe to say I never rode with him once he finally (somehow??) passed. Hello SpongeBob

I mean, it's double the post count, which some people seem to care about. So there's some good from it lol

True. :P

I did like a weeks intensive learning, then 2 - 4 hours a week to get more experience - so a fair amount of time. I learn better when I do things regular and often. And more experience with an instructor is never a bad thing. Most of my 'friends' drive stupidly.

I detest roundabouts. That British invasion of traffic circles has even spread to my small town.

Hmm, actually I detest them when there are other cars around. lol On my lonesome, I don't mind them.

When I was on Black Country roundabouts, there was a lot of honking. That could have been because you all drive on the wrong side of the road, ya know lol =P

cant you just get a friend to teach you and then go an take the test? here once youre 18 you can just take a test for your licence and never have to do any classes or get a permit first or any of that

when i bought my current car it was kinda difficult to find a manual. like i told the dealers one of my few requirements is it has to be a stick. and his lot of 200 cars in my price range he was like ok we got these 4 here...

single lane roundabouts are fine. its when you get up to the 3+ lanes where they start getting crazy. but they dont really bother me much either

A friend once needed a second driver to help her move from east coast to west coast.
She had a stick. I was given a week's worth of lessons and off we went.
best part was the final destination where I got to sit in the Japanese gardens and pretend I was back in the land of the rising sun. =)

P.S. While my shifting of gears wasn't perfect, there were no casualties or accidents.
P.S.S. I've been driving since 14, due to growing up in a rural, agricultural area.

Well done! That's so pretty and almost purple

& wow! A whole 4 choices. That's almost a handful :)

Just.. drive straight through the roundabout. Sorted.

We should just abolish them honestly. My dad recently had his licence revoked as he had a diabetic hypo and was stopped driving laps in the wrong direction round-a-roundabout. Luckily he has a really cool boss that's accommodating to his situation

They're not very magical it seems

what are friends in 2018 lol
