ive been driving since 15. my parents were willing to get me on that early i think just so they didnt have to give me rides anymore lol. public transit is nearly non existent here, so driving is mandatory Old School

Buses are really common where I live, they’re so slow tho, had to take one to/from school- which is okay when you’re under 16, but after that adult prices hit and it gets crazy expensive. Trains are available for most distant locations and I’ll take them whenever possible. But mostly I just walk everywhere. Is peaceful

Thanks. :D Been meaning to do it for a while, so it's finally out of the way (such a financial drain too). Always used to use trains or simply walk myself, though the trains are pretty slow in my corner of the UK, so you'd be better off walking anyway. As you say, it's peaceful.

I started driving myself around at 16. I started with just a moped but I broke my leg playing soccer and couldn't drive it anymore. Most Americans do drive automatic cars but I never have. Both my cars have been manual. I can't do automatic
