Half-true, half-false. Death was indeed the first human to die on Gielinor, but his task was granted by Guthix, not the Elder Gods

Lore-wise, the Zarosian faction, led by Nex, is the strongest faction out of all those fighting in the God Wars Dungeon

They once where indeed! But with the fall of Zaros and the joined forces of all gods they where driven to the brink of destruction, since they couldn't defeat Nex they instead sealed her and the rest of the Zarosians away.

The desert was once as green as the rest of Gielinor, but was devestated by Tumeken when he tried to push back Zaros' advances. Jojo - Still cannot decide who's better:

I think your right; the only other gun powder used was on the canons on the ships - that I can recall, it's been years :)
