I think your right; the only other gun powder used was on the canons on the ships - that I can recall, it's been years :) Actually it's false, since there's also the handcannon, similar to the multicannon but is a handheld weapon whereas the multicannon is a stationary weapon.

Yes, the lower tier gods required the use of Elder Artifacts (e.g. Staff of Armadyl) to gain their powers.

There is an item that relies on Quest Points to get, but unlike the QPC, it can be worn regardless of the addition of new quests
