hmm, pretty good name and i can think of nothing better. he is named jack then

as christina hears the message, the expression of her eyes turn to worry. while she wishes to aid, she feels she cannot leave the civilians alone. as she turns to look at them, it becomes clear to everyone that she is conflicted

old man: "Is something wrong, lass?"

christina: "I... I have to go. Don't worry, you'll be in good hands. I promise."

matthew: "Mommy?"

christina: "I'm sorry, Matthew. I really am, but this is important."

christina puts away her flail and gets on one knee. she gives matthew a hug before standing up again

christina: "I don't know how long I'll be away, but I will return. Henry will take care of you for now."

(note: henry is not an important character. i just needed a name for that scene)

unable to see her sons tear-stained face, christina teleports to reach the square more quickly. jack, i and duncan can be seen waiting

jack: "Christina? If you're here, that could only mean one thing. You heard that voice too, right?"

christina: "I did. It breaks my heart to leave him again, but i have to go."

me: "No need to worry. You will not go alone. We were all summoned. Now the question is reaching Keldagrim. We could go there from Relekka, but as far as I know, no teleport spell leads there. One could use a lyre to warp there, but I never held one in a long time."

jack: "How about the mine cart network? We could easily get there from the Grand Exchange."

christina: "No. Even if we teleported, it only reaches as far as the south gate. A long walk would still be required. Ghorrock is close, but the metal dragons and biting cold makes travel extremely dangerous."

me: "Hmm, this is difficult, yet i fear we have no time to waste. Duncan. What is your suggestion?"

note: to anyone unsure, christina is so well versed in magic she has access to all three spellbooks at once

Grabs very mad guy and throws him head first into a video I watched last night where his name came flashing up in the in game chat box and then proceed to take him into the dungeon and hang him up around wrist and ankles by chains dangling on a wet cold dungeon wall the rest of the story can't not be told within this thread - but I can tell you loud scream were heard throughout Gielinor.
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!

Well I can tell you the part of the story you didn't tell.

*After Dong is finished tying up Very Mad Guy his helmet falls off and contains a metallic skull with a strange eerie smile underneath it. At this moment it's clear Dong didn't capture who he intended. The head follows Dong around the room. Then what were originally VMG's gauntlets turn into claws and what can only be described as the laughter of children echoes through out the dungeon. The creature then breaks free from its chains and... well the rest can't be told on this thread. But lets just say the screams that were heard through out Gielinor were Dong's own.*
The statement below is false.

After hearing Ashlin’s message, I run up to the others, slightly out of breath

Me: Did anyone else see the dragon? It was actually flying northwards. *to myself* I’ll have to be more careful around it than usual…

I take on a pensive expression as Jack explains the situation of getting to Keldagrim

Me: Hmm…Jack, was it? If I conjured a lyre, would that work? Or does it need to be a special kind? Also, I heard that there’s a shortcut you can take from the Grand Exchange. Maybe we could teleport to Varrock and use that.

Suddenly, Dong u Dead comes up out of nowhere and grabs Barlor, throwing him through at least two 4th walls and into some dungeon. The rest of us quickly follow suit, somehow managing to get through as well, despite none of this logically making sense.

After Barlor breaks through his chains with brute strength, we realize that we are in the cave that leads to Keldagrim.

Me: *to Dead* Well…that was convenient. Thanks.

The aeroplane like noise gets louder. We run right to the entrance of the city, waiting.

*I see Cannon analysing the Multicannon blueprints and not being attacked yet. So I leap onto the top of a a nearby building. I then pull out a Sniper rifle from a hammerspace and get into a prone position aim the sniper at the room with the prototype cannons. I then load a special type of round called "portal rounds" into it.*

*I then send a drone with what looks like a portal gun into the room. The drone starts to scan for any hostiles.*

i look across the city. i know something important is going to happen, but am clueless as to what. i take the time for a small conversation

me: "Christina? I never got to ask, but why were you looking for me?"

christina: "Isn't that obvious? We saw your duel with... I think the name is Xox. You fought so recklessly and harshly, then left without a word. I was worried about you."

me: "Perhaps, but doing so dragged you into this mess. You should have stayed home."

christina: "Please, it's not much. After all, didn't we go on adventures together?"

me: "Yes, but that was a simple matter of common goals. We both wanted to take down Lucien."

christina: "Yet you stayed after his death. Why?"

me: "I still had things to do. When I returned to the surface, I was a different man. There was little to do other than to join a likeminded band of adventurers. I returned to Daemonheim after the conflict at the Heart. That should have been the last time we met."

christina seems hurt by this statement and sheds a tear

me: "Listen, that was not meant to offend you! Just... stop crying."

duncan: "Hmm? Why are you going with everything she says?"

me: " That is none of your concern... "

duncan: "Whoa, forget i asked."

interrupting the conversation, i look behind me, knowing the fremennik province is just outside

me: "Relekka is close by. I should go and ensure the safety of the townspeople."

jack: "Wait, shouldn't you stay here?"

me: "I am not losing another!"

i run out of the cave, towards the direction of relekka

jack: "What's his problem?"

christina look with worry and guilt, knowing clearly what happened. she then centers her attention towards keldagrim

if you wonder why i focus so much on exposition, i am taking a reactive stance in the story. i get a little lost in what happens sometimes so i let others drive the plot forwards. might change that later once i get more of a bearing on the situation

(Sorry I took so long to post)

As Barlor emerges from the cave, he sees a shadow pass over Relekka in the distance.

Looking up he sees a dragon similar in appearance to Elvarg. It hovers for a few seconds, sends out a booming roar and then swoops, with frightening speed, right into the cave entrance the warrior just left.

Meanwhile, in the passageway, the others fell a string wind blowing their direction. The large reptile rockets through above the and smashes through the entrance to the city, landing just inside.

Me: Ahh! The thing's too fast, we've got to catch up with it!

I quickly summon a device out of solid light, similar to a jet booster. It shoots a beam of plasma backwards, launching me toward Keldagrim. While being thrown through the air into the subterranean city, I pull out the book from before and turn to one of the pages, ready to summon something when I land.

Me: Well it's not every day you get to fight a dragon.

*I attach a device to my sniper rifle which automates it. I then pull out my sword and charge a lightning bolt and throw it at the dragon stunning and damaging it. I then quickly rush over using my thrusters and use the momentum I gained to uppercut it under the chin sending it flying back. While the dragon is in mid air I then summon a barrage of swords to pin the dragon's wings and I then unload some soul shots into the dragon.*

i notice the dragon swooping in the cave, but dismiss it, knowing how powerful the rest of the team is. i continue my journey towards relekka to ensure no harm comes to the townspeople

meanwhile jack and christina are caught off guard by the dragon racing through the tunnel. as they catch their breath and their heart rate goes down a little, duncan has already taken off after it. they look at each other, nod then go through the entrance, now large enough to fit both just fine. however, they still need to cross the river. jack equips his royal crossbow and loads a grapple in it. he then looks at christina

jack: "Hold on tight, OK?"

christina: "OK."

as christina grabs jack by the torso, he aims for an odd formation in the cave ceiling and shoots. the grapple hooks this formation and jack removes his crossbow, holding on to the rope attached to the grapple. he tightens the rope then swings across, ferrying himself and christina across the river as she holds tight. as they prepare to land on the other side, their combined weight makes the formation break free from the ceiling, just late enough for them to land on solid ground completely dry (except christinas shoes, which have grown humid from years of swamp trekking). the rock falls in the water and jack fishes up the grapple, shaking it dry a little before storing it in his inventory. they notice the dragon under attack by duncan and ashlin, and decides the best option is to ensure all civilians are safe

OK, so I have a lot more time on my hands now so I'll be able to post more often.

---

The dragon roars in defiance, being pinned to the wall of the cave, and thrashes about as Ashlin unleashes his barrage of attacks.

The creature lets out a deafening growl, which resonates throughout the cave. Stalactites crumble from the ceiling and crash down to the ground, one narrowly missing me as I roll out of the way.

The dragon breaks free, looking at the new tears in its wings. It roars in anger, as With Mila's Divine protection (SSBB) begins playing.

The dragon swoops across the river, landing in front of the fighters, and unleashing a breath attack similar to a laser, swinging its head in an arc to hit as many targets as possible.
