Zamoragal tired, goes over by river Lum and rests. The river carrying water from the sea, has a bit more current going thru the stream today. Looking at the rivers mouth at the sea, he sees something floating in the water, coming closer and closer. He looks down at a familiar looking object, Cristina 2.0. (doorknob, listen. the "abducting and replacing christina 2.0" thing was a gutsy move that opened up new possibilities and i appreciate it, but outright killing off a character of a frequent poster without the owners consent? that is a course of action i cannot accept)

as dralsnea attempts to finish off christina 2.0, she is knocked back by a magical shockwave

christina 2.0: "I warned you. Do not stand in my way."

christina 2.0 instinctively casts a teleport spell without specifying the decision and ends up at the monastery right by the rest of the team, much to their shock. she works out where she is and moves towards varrock

jack: "Wait... Isn't that you, Christina? Hey, wait!"

christina 2.0 stops as her arms is grabbed

christina 2.0: "Why are you in my way?"

jack: "In your way? We came to rescue you."

christina 2.0: "Unhand me. Now. I must return to Zemouregal."

jack: "What? No! We came to stop him. I can't let you return."

christina 2.0 wrestles her arm from jack and casts another shockwave spell to knock him to the ground, then once again goes towards varrock, using magic to levitate and get there more quickly. christina quickly comes to jacks aid and helps him up

jack: "Ugh... what was that?"

duncan: "She can't be that loyal to him. She must've been brainwashed."

christina: "No... I can't sense any sign of mental altercation. What did they do to her..."
They see me rollin', they better run...

sarah: "Oh, yeah. Forgot to tell you. Yep, we're not from this world. We traveled from a completely different dimension to fix things here. Cool, huh?"

me: "Hmm, the others must be nearby if you can sense their presence. Do you know exactly where?"

stranger: "Let's see.... I feel three signs to the west. Wait... another source, and one extremely similar to another trace that is. The trace goes eastward. Huh, now the trace's almost right above us, just a bit to my east."

sarah: "Three, huh? Yeah, that has to be the other you. You look so alike. I've seen him work magic, but he wasn't that connected to the earth was he? The other two must've been Jackie and Christie, but another? Ash, maybe?"

me: "No. He said something similar that shortly left. It must be the other Christina we are looking for."

sarah: "Ooh, I see. That must mean this journey's nearly at its end. I guess this ladder leads to Varrock then."

sarah climbs the ladder, uses one of her hairpins to unlock the trapdoor then lifts it slightly with her head just enough to look outside. almost instantly, crossbows and swords are aimed at her

guard: "Out. Now."

sarah complies and gets up, then takes her hands up as she gets thoroughly searched. The guards confiscate her rope, knife and wooden bow, but the crystal bow is in a seed and hidden in her hair

sarah: (I guess I could just play along for a while. I'll break out when it suits me.)

as the guards get out of sight, i climb the ladder to get a look too, ready to ambush when the time comes

Atop the Castle

*The emperor is observing current events including those unfolding in Doorknob's location. He notices Christina 2.0's escape.*

Emperor: Trying to take my piece without actually earning it I see. This I cannot allow in my game.

*The emperor teleports to Doorknob's location.*

Doorknob's location

Dnalsea: Should we go after her?

Emperor: I can't let you do that.

Dnalsea: Who are you and how did you-

Emperor: I have no business with underlings like you.

*The emperor quickly dashes over and Dnalsea falls to the ground after a swift punch to the gut.*

Emperor: Relax she's merely unconscious and she should come to after I'm done here.

Doorknob: What do you want?

Emperor: Why to give you a message.

*Doorknob feels some tightness around his throat as the emperor slowly closes his hand.*

Emperor: I see you have your ambitions just try not to choke on them. Also don't underestimate your opponents.

*The emperor releases his grip and Doorknob can breath normally again.*

Emperor: That'll be all. So have fun with this game. But just so you know crude assassinations won't be enough and are boring. So try and be more entertaining.

*The emperor vanishes back to his post on top of the castle.*

Varrock west gate

*I approach Varrock's gate siping a can of root beer.*

Me: Guess this is the place.

*Sharathteerk appears and attempts to ambush me.*

Shar: You dare ignore my warning to not come here! You will-

*Shar is quickly silences as I decapitate him with a shuriken made with the can I was drinking out of.*

Me: Well I guess I better light a signal or something.

*I look at a old abandoned house.*

Me: Doesn't that couple live there in the real timeline?

*I set off a flare hoping the party sees it and am ready for any ambushes.* The statement below is false.

*Side note, Lucien being and wildly and volcano exploding thing still happens. The rest of it does not happen and what is stated above happens. *

Me getting a hold of my self gets up. I look at my daughter.
I: "How pathetic you are, you could do nothing to save your own father. Shall I remind you that you are an orphan, whose life was saved from the clutches of the Vampyres are at Morytania? Well than looks like we only have Lucien right now, who can be a big help for us. "

I look away from my crying daughter, and look out the window where a large plume of ash can be seen rising from the Wilderness volcano. I look back at my daughter.

I: "Did I ever tell you to kill her? I only wanted you to scare her to death! "I say pounding my fist on the wall. "JUST GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM!!!".

My daughter runs away in tears.

I:"I think Lucien and I have to do this my self. " I say, opening a portal and walking thru it and ending up next to Lucien who looks like Cristina.

*At the wilderness*

Lucien looked scared alright. Although He could see the gaseous plumes and lava from the far north Wilderness Volcano heading north away from him, he was still scared. My sudden appearance causes Lucien to go of guard for a moment.

I : "Lucien, go underground at the gamers grotto cave north of Falador for a while, I have some business to do here. Go now. "

I watch as Lucien obeys my orders and wanders off.

*A little while later at the gamers grotto. *

The place that used to be packed with large number of adventurers who showed of thier skills is now dead quite. The drips of water from the stalagmites of the cave crashing down on the ground echoed thru out the cave. Lucien was all by himself, sitting on the ground hugging his knees and shaking. *Somewhere at a ruins in the western Wilderness.*

The heat from the eruption of the volcano could be felt from here. The air was a bit dense here, but that did not matter to me.

I: "Who dares question my strength and abilities. Who dares to lay a finger on Lord Variant. " I say in anger as the nearby roar of the volcano to the west loudness.

I then take out my sword and think to my self I think it is time for you my friend, my lovely and loyal pet to rise and help me. . With a loud scream I yell, "RISE MY FRIEND, RISE TO YOUR MASTER!!!" I point my sword to the sky.

Withing a moment a heavy movement occurs in the ground as cracks appear bellow my feet. The crack get bigger and eventually the ground bellow me explodes. For a moment I feel falling but then my feet make contact with something large coming out of the ground. I rise in elevation from the ground standing on the shoulders of the object coming out of the ground.

The accent finally stops, with a large deafening roar that probably is now echoing throut the Wilderness. The loud roar was so powerful one might even say it has stopped time for a few seconds.

I then grin and say "There, there, now my Corporeal Beast, we have some work to do outside of the Wilderness. " I then do an evil blood curling loud laugh that my pet joins in, doing as well. (i have not planned to make a move until duncan is ready. i just want to leave a message)

(doorknob, the only thing i have to say is "good job". you knew you could change things on a massive scale, but you also knew when you went too far and toned it down. for a moment i thought you were going to be one of those one-shot posters who think they can godmode everything, but i am glad to be proven wrong)

I watch Christina 2.0 move toward Varrock. I also notice a flare go off in the distance near the city.

Me: I don’t know what that flare was but it could be Ashlin’s signal. With that, and this world’s Christina, maybe we need to focus on getting to Varrock after all. I think we can do both without losing any time though.

I hold out two objects - during this time I have procured a crystal that seems to glow faintly, as well as a smaller one tied roughly to some string. I hang the smaller one around my neck and hold the other in my hand.

Me: OK, I’ve prepared a spell so I can search this place while you’re getting to Varrock. If you reach the city walls or otherwise need help, just crush this crystal and I’ll be teleported to wherever you guys are. That way I can search this place and you don’t need to wait for me. It’ll only last bout half an hour, but when the time’s almost up I’ll teleport myself to you anyway, hopefully having got some information that can help us. Then we can all be ready to enter Varrock. If anyone wants to help search the building, I can make you one of these as well.

If anyone chooses to enter the monastery, then I make a crystal for them. However they will have to sneak in themselves as my method of getting in is a bit awkward. I cast a spell which causes light to simply pass through me. Unfortunately this makes me blind while it is active, and so I stumble a lot as I make my way toward the monastery.

Me: (good thing no-one can see me making an utter fool of mys-) OW.

I stub my toe on a root of one of the trees outside. One of the monks pops his head out of the door and looks around in confusion, fortunately not noticing the rest of the party. Once he’s gone, I clumsily half climb, half fall over the wall lining the path up to the building.

Eventually I manage to get up to the entrance. I slip in, as if the door had been blown open by the wind and, once in a room by myself, switch to an illusion that makes me appear to be wearing Zamorakian robes.

Me: [muttering as I pull the hood up] I am not good at stealth levels…Let’s see if there’s anything here we can use.

I begin striding around the complex as if on patrol, and the disguise seems to work.

you know, i keep forgetting that barlor 2.0 even exists. i guess he does not have any traits that really make him stand out, and serves as little more than a guide. i have little more to do with him so unless anyone wants to take over, we could write him out of the story with the justification that he has to urgently return to keldagrim

as sarah is held captive, she attempts to manipulate the guards

sarah: "So... what are your plans for me?"

guard: "We have direct orders to bring you straight to Zemouregal."

sarah: "What? Why would you do that?"

guard: "As I said, we have direct order."

sarah: "No, I mean, what's in it for you? Why do you listen?"

guard: "His word is law. Anyone who disagrees is forced to cooperate."

sarah: "So you have to listen no matter what? Doesn't sound like a life worth living to me."

guard: "What choice do we have?"

sarah: "Well, you could probably defect."

guard: "Do you know what you're saying, woman?! No one crosses Zemouregal and lives."

sarah: "We're about to change that. You see, I didn't come alone. I have powerful allies who won't be happy about what happens to me, and when they find out, you'll be the first to go. What will you do? Betray Zemouregal and probably die, or follow orders and certainly die?"

the guards weapons get shaky

guard: "Uh... ah... Shut up! Who knows how he'll kill us if we don't follow his orders?"

sarah: "Come on, I don't have forever."

guard: "Fine. Come with us."

sarah: (So much for that. Zemmy must have a real tight leash on those guys.)

sarah sees the flare, then manages to spot ashlin. she gets an idea

sarah: "I'm afraid I can't do that. Like you, I have a mission to fulfill."
They see me rollin', they better run...
