*Just before naught teleports away he feels a sharp pain in his gut. After a few seconds he realises that there is a dagger made of pure energy in his gut. Before he can do anything everything goes black as another energy dagger seemingly materialises in his forehead. A mysterious figure wearing a jingasa and robes with the sleeves of the shirt torn off and the rest of his body is covered in bandages. He has green glowing eyes.*

???: Some meat not even worth the time he has been her. *Sigh* Well now that he's dead I'm sure he won't mind me taking his creation energy.

*The stranger then extends the needs in his hand and starts draining energy from naught's corpse.*

*A passing adventurer, clearly not paying attention to anything going on around him accidentally stumbles into the mysterious figure, being completely oblivious to what's going on around him, he carries on without a second though.*

*despite everything going on, my attention is only on the mysterious figure*

*i walk towards this being, unsheathing my sword in the process. i then shoulder the sword and open my left hand, revealing a small flame in the palm*

"this magic training better be worth it"

*i close my hand and look at the figure*

"well? will you test your skills against a warrior?"

The mage gets up, clutching at his wound, watching in silence as the mysterious figure dispatches a passer by and drains something.

It comes as no surprise to him that Mad Guy's immediate reaction is to challenge the stranger. He lets out an exasperated sigh.

"Mad Guy, you're incapacitated. We need to go and recover."

Ok time to get to work with this encounter.

*As the Mysterious figure drains energy from his victim Thef Reak bumps into him. Paying no attention to him the figure just continues draining the corpse until it turns to dust.*

???: Ahh now that was quite the snack.

VMG: Well? Will you test your skills against a warrior?

*The figure turns to face Very Mad Guy.*

???: Hmm even though your apparently wounded you might actually be worth my time. Although time isn't on your side in this fight. But since this is a test it would be hardly sporty of me kill you. I'll just settle for beating you till your within an inch of your life.

*The Mysterious figure then draws a katana and points it at Very Mad Guy with one hand behind his back.*

???: Lets begin. It's only fair I let my challenger have the first strike. The statement below is false.

*hearing the figures request, i relent as he might be planning a counterattack*

"you sure you dont want to go first?"

???: "you first"

*i slowly walk towards the figure, still shouldering the sword*

"you know what happens when hell freezes over?"

*i open my palm, revealing a flame as before. i shoot a fireball in the air and the ball slowly gets bigger and bigger as it levitates in the air*

"a certain... friend of mine has shown me how useful fire can be in combat. an acquaintance has shown me a more... appealing way to use it as well"

*i close the hand and open it again, this time a very cold, visible gust of wind is seen. i shoot something akin to a small blizzard in the air and it hits the fireball, mixing the colors*

"but you never win by sticking to one style. it gives long time rivals a chance to find and exploit a weakness in your fighting style. i made that mistake long ago. i shall ensure it never happens again"

*i motion with my hand, turning it so the palm faces the ground and move it downwards quickly. the icy fireball, now at a five meter radius, hits the ground, encasing the entire area in a mix of fire and ice. i then strike with a slow sweep with the sword*

*The mysterious figure doesn't move. He just stands there as the ball of fire and ice is hurtling towards aiming to both burn and then freeze him. The ball then explodes and Very Mad Guy then attempts to take advantage of this attack with a surprise slash. However he has only slashed the air. He then turns to see the Mysterious figure has gotten behind him.*

???: Too slow.

*Before Very Mad Guy can react The mysterious figure places a glowing hand on Very Mad Guy's chest and unleashes a blast of energy which sends Very Mad Guy a few meters back. On his armour a super heated mark can be seen steaming away. Very Mad Guy quickly gets up despite his armour not being designed to withstand such attacks. The Mysterious Figure the gets back into his original fighting pose.*

???: Now what else can you do?

(Yep this is going to be one of those test fights. Can you figure out the figure's main power? Well some hints will come in subsequent posts. Or at least ones that haven't already been posted.) The statement below is false.
