The plan seems to work, Mad Guy going into rage mode as expected. However, the second part of the attack doesn't hit, as he teleports in order to avoid it.
He reappears high up in the air, the armor looking quite different, aiming his sword straight at the mage, who casts a simple fire-spell to make an explosion that blasts him out of the way, as well as the text to the other side of this post, as he lands roughly in the snow.
~Fighting an opponent in an enraged mode...this seems familiar, but something is missing. Aha!*
The mage throws his staff a few inches in the air where it hovers and turns back into a glaive, pulls out some paper from the scroll, takes out the brush and starts painting. A mauldrone bursts out of the page, landing on his left arm, as he grabs the glaive out of the air.
