Vex shivers deeply. He thought he was prepared for it but.....he hadn't felt it in so long. The man he once called friend. Enemy. Master.

Him.

He felt stronger than Vex expected. Stronger than he should have. So much complexity, so much power, in just a fleeting moment.

"What shall I do? I thought to watch, wait and see. To observe. But that was something else. He has seen me. Should I contact my old friends? Will they even remember me? Remember all the things I did. Perhaps I should try something new." He waves a hand in front of his face. The flesh ripples, contorts and reforms. He speaks with a different voice, deep and hearty, "Time to introduce the new me. I wonder how they're doing."

((LOL I cant remember who I was with anymore, only 1 I can think of is Lynn, my cub, and Death, did we drop this one???))

(the sense of pure fear runs thru Kairi's body, only 1 other time she felt this and that was long ago)

A man appears before Kairi. He is wearing a simple green robe. His face is hidden by a hood "Calm, girl. Calm. I am here to help."

He pulls a small book from the sleeves of his robes. It is bound in thin, brown leather. It seemed very unremarkable. "Keep this safe. It will help. The pages look blank now but when you are in true need, words will appear. Helpful words. It comes from someone you used to know. Vex was his name." He starts to walk away. An orange portal opens in front of him.

"I will return, if you wish. Carn comes for us all. We must prepare. Call me.....Cucubuths. Say that old name and I will do all I can to aid you."

(gently takes the book from him and tilts her head down, a small tear rolls down her cheek, remembering Vex, holding the book close to her chest.)

Annie smiled to be free again. She was so happy to see the sun,and everything around her. She wonder were kairi and everyone else was. She kept looking around to make sure Nyx wasn't near by to recapture them. -Dances-

(kairi walks back to camp, trying to decide weather that guy who appered in front of her was somebody that Vex knew well or somebody that he sent to find her)
