Annie kept moving but might saw another one or the same shadow octopus coming after her. She stop running and went into fighting stance. She was ready to fight and tried of running. Then asked in a brave voice,"who are you?" -Dances-

Annie repiled in her mind to kairi,"ok. But I can use my powers to defet it. we don't know if this is a shadow or not. I just want to find out the answers to my questions just asked this creature. Why do we need an Ethereal type of weapon to fight an shadow? I am tired of running." She was waiting for the creature to answer her. But ready to fight if needed too. -Dances-

The monsters mouth opened as if to speak. "Grrr!" Rue screamed.

Shadow
creature pounced at Annie, growling, its teeth inches from Annie's face-

Crunch!
It wasn't the sound of an Elf being chomped between sable jaws. The beast had landed on the ground, been knocked aside by something... Someone had tackled the creature. At first it looked like Rue. But the thought was quickly dispelled. It was a man with black clothes. The man rose a purple skinned hand holding a golden dagger. Dalnius? Dalnius's weapon of choice had always been a dagger. And the purple skin... The dagger was plunged into the heart of the beast, which exploded into scattering shadow energy. The man fell through the space the creature no longer occupied and landed on the ground in a crouch.

(kairi turns her head and notices that both shadow creatures was gone, one exploaded, other just dissapered)
What in the heck just happened?!
(she quickly notices a guy some how being purple on the ground and then goes in to investigate)

Annie looked at the man not sure who it is and said in a shaking voice,"thank you for saving me. I really appreciate it. Dalnius is that you? But if not who are you?" She wasnt sure if it was her master or not. So she had to ask.

Annie looked at kairi and said in a shaking voice,"I am not sure. I was just attack by the shadow creature and rescued by this man." As she said the last part of her sentence she pointed at the man. -Dances-
