First part of fight with Maereth posted. He was really pulling Aaron's tail in that scene (The Dragons' equivalent to "pulling your leg", but in this case, literally).
Geo- I know what the first thing outta your mouth is gonna be, and NO! He did NOT rip Aaron's tail off! That would be a really bloody scene if he did...

Ok now for a brief comment before I bed down for the night.
Then battle we have raging currently is definitly lopsided.
One dragonet(not fully grown), versus a tried and true vet.
I tried to leave a weakness in the bio, i'm very curious how aaron get out of this one...

Aaron is overpowered, only times he's managed to hit Maereth were by chance and Maereth is slowly beating him down. The reason Aaron keeps fighting is because of youthful stubborness.
Maereth's weakness is on his back, that's why he attacked him so viciously when Aaron latched onto his back. But that's not what eventually defeats Maereth, though... Aaron has an ability Maereth doesn't, and Maereth is terrified of this ability. You actually gave me the idea, Geo....

Ok, I knew I couldn't stretch out the fight for very much longer: After all, like you said Geo, it was a badly lopsided match.
EDIT: I hope you all liked the ending to Chapter IV, I will DEFINITELY be starting Chapter V later tonight, right after dinner.
EDIT2: I haven't decided whether or not Maereth will be a villian in the Story, but he will be a major character. Just cuz he attacked Aaron and Skye, that doesn't mean he's evil (It's implied why he attacked them in the Chapter; read carefully).

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. I'm thinking of just taking that whole sentence out, and explain Seeldah's age later. Maybe I won't have her be old. She's construed as the village elder in the Story.

hmmm, whatever your the author, just curious, you going to use any of the post bios??
On a totally unrelated note, I'm putting Knight of Hope on hold, thios massive problem with the plot has got me doing circles and schoold/ drama/ scouts ain't helping. So I'm thinking about reverting to a short story thread.

Dragons of Surdaus is basically the Prologue to the Story: Orion's Call. In this Aaron's mostly confined to Darogan Valley, so he's not gonna be able to meet Dragons other than those listed by Seeldah till later. Don't worry, I'm fitting them in with Story as we speak, though it may not look like it.
