Oh yeah. I have a habit of duelling Sith Inquisitors whenever I see them, even if they're a few levels above me. I usually succeed in killing them though, sometimes even if they're a level or two above me.
(Or sometimes I'll just kill them when they happen to cross my path, if they have pvp flag switched on...)

Warriors, for all intent and purposes, if I get into a fight with one it would simply be a neck-to-neck fight. It would be purely down to gear, skill and luck, since both players will have the exact same strength and weaknesses.
On that note the Sith aren't generally nice to fight against, even though it is very rewarding to kill one sometimes. 1.2 nerfed the Sages and Sorcerers and buffed all the other classes, which is fair enough. Sorcerers had basically unlimited power up until now...

Two things. Force Bending was redesigned so the burst healing ability of Sorcerer's have been 'nerfed'. They will no longer be able to heal 10k+ health in like 5 seconds. Instead that process will take 6 or 7 seconds. The other thing is Consumption/Noble Sacrifice. Before the change these abilities can be used to get basically free force powers with no negative effects every time Innervate/Healing Trance crits, so that's like 8% free maximum force powers every 12 seconds. Now they made it so these abilities cost health which means they can no longer be spammed without consequences.
Yesterday I saw a level 41 Sith Assasin questing on Belsavis while I was looking for Rakata Energy cubes. He very unfortunately had his pvp flag switched on as he rides his cute Collector's Edition speeder past me. I saw him and I used Saber Throw, Force Leap, Master Strike, Overhead Slash and Dispatch and he's dead. He tried to throw me off the cliff into a huge pool of lava but failed. I lost 2k health and he lost 10k :P .
Moral of the story: Don't be a Sith :P .

XD Moral of the story be smarter than your opponent, don't get caught off guard, and don't have your pvp flag on if you're not ready! I still think I side with the Sith. Jedis are too un-aggressive, their powers are mostly to heal/boost each other, not to destroy their opponent.

Heh, it's just the name that is more aggressive. The abilities are mirrored in the opposing advanced class. And obviously, I was aggressive enough to destroy the little Sith :P .
And you don't think Sorcerer's have heals? Yes they do. They have something called 'Dark Heal'. :P
