If all the points you described previously contained elements to which that should compel me to be positive about that, then no, I do not feel anything.

Well then what's the use of arguing with you.. t'was fun..

Notice my choice of words. It is not that I cannot be convinced differently. It’s simply that you didn't, or couldn’t, convince me. That does not mean that I am set so firmly in my beliefs that I couldn't be convinced, unlike many of my faith counterparts.

Yes, but my point is, if people simply try to pound each other over the head with information(which, from my experience both watching and taking a part, seems to be what is the tactic on both sides), not much is typically acomplished.
That may be the skin and bones of debate, and it rarely changes much.

If this is actually a proposal of a draw in this debate because not much is accomplished, I completely disagree. It is not a draw. I have offered countless arguments, counter arguments, analogies that simply were not sufficiently answered or properly addressed by the opposition, yet we have a draw?
I am normally quite a person easily convinced of matters, but I'm not convinced here at all. Had sufficient arguments and points being put forth to alter my view, I will do so. When I on the other hand, put forth powerful points, I can safely say that my opposition will not rethink his position. Almost none of my points are properly answered. I cannot accept a draw on this basis.
I however, can accept a win in the debate, because my opponent offered little counter arguments and they were of little merit. That does not mean I have changed his mind - minds such as those are usually trained and drilled so much by their parents that they found it virtuous to stick to their own beliefs regardless of anything suggesting otherwise. Debating with these minds would indeed be useless, if I were after a significant outcome. I was not. I simply wanted to point out all the flaws in their argument, and allow them to reflect on this on their own.

I am attempting to create a truce until I get the time to speak with you in length again.
I have just rarely been able to sit down for more than 20 minutes at a time at the computer for RS of late.
And it is more difficult to talk further in small increments.

Lol, well, Gen Varo and I have been speaking for quite a long time on here already. The debate between he and I are slightly different to the one between you and me, so I have no idea why a truce between Gen Varo and I would be in your interest.

Hey English. I'm sorry it took me so terribly long but I finished reading your story now.
I was very happy with the last two chapters, though the ending was very unexpected. I'm not going to point out silly little sentences again because not only there were few, but also because it dishonors the quality I found in the piece. I'm glad you decided to put the focus in these last chapters on the mind and interaction of Edward, because those were also the stronger points in the earliest chapters. I'm pretty sure you made some enemies in the Christian circles of these forums, but I couldn't manage to suppress a smile when I read the part. (I'm pretty sure you know which part I'm referring to) Still, it felt a bit odd because ultimately no consequences were tied to that part of the chapter (I had suspected some more information on the aftermath of Edwards release) so that was a bit disappointing, to not see all those Saradomin priests succumb under Edward's wrath. Oh, did I just let my sadistic side out there? :D
I'm glad you highlighted Ronny's thoughts in the aftermath. It was easy to see the change of focus from the main story, which was also necessary because of the different nature of the text.
Some minor things I found a little odd while reading through the chapters:
"Edward was on a penguin expedition, the King claimed, and would not return until further notice."
Seriously, penguin expedition? I found it rather amusing, but it doesn't fit at all in the very serious nature of the chapter.
"Then he has made his mind up about Ronny, and nothing could be changed. Edward has had five years to make up his mind, so why did Ronny believe he could change everything in a magical moment?"
Are the tenses supposed to be this way?
Anyhow, thanks for entertaining me, you did a very good job. And I hope this helps in your story reflection.
