As I walked away from the foreboding abode, I decided to explore a little and walk north. I came to a peculiar ditch line and decided to cross it. It was an empty area, filled with rats and skeletons (at least from where I was), and all of a sudden, a person in full mithril armor ran up and tried to slay me.
I was wearing pretty weak armor then, only full steel.
"Gimme your money!" he said as he banged my steel kite shield with his mithril longsword.
"Back off!" I yelled as I tried to threaten him with my steel longsword.
He then pushed me down to the ground and pointed his sword at my chest.
"I said I want your belongings," he said in an intimidating tone.
I began to unpack my bag, but my full helmet fell off and the man startled.
"Why is your skin dark?"
"Long story," I replied.
"Fine, I don't want to hear from you." He began to sniffle.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
"None of your concern," he looked at my bare gloveless hands and noticed they had a familiar sign on them.
"Are...you a Crandor survivor?" he asked, "You look like you have smithing hands."
"...I'm not quite Crandorian, but I was from the same event..." I replied.
"...Have we met?"
"...Who are you?"
"If you must know, I'm Vincent," he said.
"...Vince?"
"Yes?"
"It's me, Hurricaneria!"
He froze in surprise.
"Hurr? OH MY GOD!"
He helped me up from the burned ground.
"I can't believe you're alive!" Vince said.
"I could say the same!" I said, "How'd you escape?"
"Some Mages saved my life when I was trying to escape the flood from that hole the dragon caused, they told me to find the farmer in charge of the sheep nearby."
"I was told to find the Duke of Lumbridge," I said, "He fostered me my whole youth."
"Really? Anyway lets get out of here, more adventurers may be coming."
"Yea, good point."
As we teleported away from the place, we arrived at Lumbridge and began talking with one another.
I told him what happened with my parents, he was very surprised, but he seemed well.
