"Hurr, c'mon have some dinner," said my godfather, the Duke of Lumbridge.
"I'm not hungry," I replied.
He ignored what I said and put a plate in front of me.
"Hurr, what's going on?" he asked.
It was summer time, right around July, and I was to be deciding if I was to be an "NPC" or an adventurer.
"It's the anniversary is it?" he asked. I can't quite remember what the date exactly was when the "anniversary" took place, but I was well aware of it before that.
"Hurr?"
"Yes?"
"You're thinking about the island are you?"
"...Why you ask?"
"It's the anniversary of when it was destroyed."
"Don't remind me," I said in a low tone.
"Well, eat, you'll feel better."
I pushed my plate away and walked the two flights of stairs to my bedroom.
"Cook, Have you made yourself dinner yet?" my godfather asked.
"No, I didn't yet, why?"
"Hurr doesn't want dinner, you can have his plate."
While I was in my bedroom, deep in thought, I was still weighing the pros and cons of being an adventurer, while the memories of my home island was surfing through my mind. I remembered all my old friends, Vince, Knight, Kung, and Anna. I began to cry for them, and my parents, whom their death scene was a nightmare to remember.
"Hurr, can I come in?" my godfather spoke.
I didn't answer; I lit my candle and went to the window to see all the late night noobs and champions, growing jealousy for them for being dnmed adventurers.
"Hurr, listen, I..."
"No Frank, you listen...I need to move on now. I need to go take care of myself from now on; I'm sure there're peers of mine that are already starting new lives to become famous. I won’t be like that Frank, I want to have a simple life with my own things to do."
"Hurricaneria, please..."
"No! Just leave me old man! I'm tired of having people look over my shoulder worrying about me all the time, I'm fine!"
I took a small bag with a lamp and headed off outside of the castle. I didn't even deny it when I left, I liked it.
