Taena ran her hand over the rough stone near the cave mouth. She wasn't sure why she had come here, but she just couldn't think at the camp with Teegan and Sukrae. Here however she COULD think, in fact she had been thinking so hard that she had tripped over two small rocks and a bushy green shrub.
Her thoughts were something like this:
Thought 1: What do we do next?
Thought 2: How can we get rid of Keppon's body? (Burying would take too long)
Thought 3: If we decide to go home, then what way is home?
Thought 4: How will I kill Kerr?
As she ran her hand over the stone, her hand and arm suddenly vanished. She let out a startled yelp and jerked about, calming down when she saw that her arm had only fallen into a little cave in the wall.
This cave was far smaller then the one that they had first come out of, and had no doubt been made by some long-dried stream of water. It was empty now though, and when Taena checked, the cave looked only to streach about seven feet into the rocky wall with a three foot by three foot entrance.
An idea popped into Taen*'* head, and she walked quickly back to camp, pushing the prickley spruce branchs out of the way.
When she got back she found Teegan and Sukrae clinging to a large spruce tree at the edge of the clearing.
"What on earth are you doing!?" she exclaimed, sprinting over to the tree.
"Don't worry, we're fine," called Teegan, smiling at the confused look on her sister's face. Taena reached the tree, to which Teegan and Sukrae still clung to.
"Why?" she asked, looking first at her sister, then at Sukrae, who grinned sheepishly back.
"Well, Sukrae just got up, so we're practicing walking around. When we got over here, we both got tired and right now we are taking a rest."
It did make sense, now that Taena thought about it. "Good," she said, "I've figured something out."
