Taena was roused by the bright morning sun streaming into the tent.
She scrambled to her feet and went to check on Sukrae and Teegan; their fevers had gone down, she noticed, and Sukrae's cut wasn't green anymore.
"Water." Teegan moaned, eyelids fluttering. Taena smiled.
"That's a good sign," she thought, crawling out of the shelter.
Once she got out she looked around her, she hadn't seen much of what the clearing looked like yesterday. "Oh Saradomin," she gasped, "we're in the wilderness."
Finally she shook herself and went over to the little brook, wilderness or not, they needed water.
Last night she had made a rough cup by chopping off a branch and carving out the middle, she had put it down by the brook and it was still there, she filled it up after drinking herself, and went back to the shelter.
After her eyes adjusted to the relitive darkness inside, she noticed that Teegan had managed to sit up, and was looking blearily at her. "Oh good you're up," said Taena, "I brought water." and she handed the cup to her sister.
