"That's all I can do," Taena whispered, at last straightining up from bending over the still body of Teegan.
"I've stopped the bleeding, and unless she's lost more blood then I think, she should wake up soon."
"Is there anything I can do?" asked Sukrae, wishing that Teegan might talk, or do anything, anything so he could see that she was alright.
"No, just stay here," Taena told him. "I'm going to go see if there's any water in this Saradomin-forsaken hole."
She left, running over to a rock that had fallen, and jumping up into one of the holes in the wall.
Sukrae watched as she disappered, into the dark of one of the tunnels, then he got up and went to sit on the rock next to Teegan; her breathing was stronger, he noticed, as he brushed some of the raven hair off her pale face.
Then she opened her eyes, and saw him, and they sat there just like that for a minute or so before Teegan finally broke the silence,
"What just happened there?" she asked him. "My leg hurts, where did the demon go?" her eyes widened, and she made an attempt to sit up, before dizzyness overcame her and she sank back down onto the stone.
"The demon is dead," he told her, "don't worry, Taena's fine and I'm ok, your leg is going to require medical attenshun though, so just lie down until your sister gets back."
