I didn't really play too much today... Mostly because I was just lacking motivation. I started out with a Farming run, then dropped my Miscellania to improve my Approval Rating.
What to do, what to do... I wished I could still go and help at my Citadel... I decided I would go and see who was at the Mining Golds fortress. I teleported with my Clan Vexillum and entered the massive portal. In the Citadel, I teleported to the different regions. Both players who were there were cutting timber. For a clan with 500 clanmates, we definitely get quite a poor turnout when it comes to helping out at the citadel.
I thanked them for helping out and then logged off for a while.
I went outside onto my back porch and bathed in the sunshine. The soft breeze through the air only enhanced the surrealism of the moment. It felt great. An entire day of school definitely makes you appreciate the sunny days.
When I logged back on a few hours later, I was still in the Mining Golds citadel. There were three new people here, and I thanked all of them for spending their time to help out the clan.
The dilemma... what to do... I sort of felt like Dungeoneering, but I just didn't want to at the same time. That's when I thought of it! I would go and play Pyramid Plunder!
I grabbed my high defence bonus gear (and my octopus) and teleported to Al Kharid. I ran south to the Shantay Pass, bought my ticket and took a carpet ride to Pollnivneach. It's a wonder Shantay gets any business; there's a big warning message telling you not to go through the pass!
I took a second carpet ride to Sophanem. It would have been so much easier with a Pharoah's Sceptre, but I was a little short on cash at the time.
I had my Antipoisons and Monkfish, and was ready to go raid some tombs! I entered the first room and looked for the Mummy. Nothing there... I looked in the second one: Nothing there either...

I ran around to the third room, and looked in there. No mummy. Well at least there was only onr room left to check! I was just about to check in there when I was disconnected. I logged back on and checked that very same room. No mummy. Ugh... I searched the other rooms all over again, and of course, the mummy resided in the very last one.
The game started and I traversed my way through the tombs. I opened the Golden Chest in every tomb, unleashing the scarab swarm every time. Just to add to the frustration, out of the four possible doors that could lead me to the next room, it was the last one I checked, every time.
Finally, on the level 61 Room, I started checking the urns. Every urn took me two attempts to complete. What was with this? I finally ended the game and started a new one.
It was the same story over. Did Jagex update the chances of success at Pyramid Plunder? I was getting pretty frustrated... I actually broke my record for the most fails on an urn in a row: An astounding 17 times. Yes, 17 times. I hope I don't have to break that record any time soon...
On my fourth run through, I finally reached the next level of Thieving; Level 71! Finally, I could enter the next tomb!
I ran through the tombs again, and entered the new room. The experience was significantly higher per urn! I did two runs with that until I logged off for the night.
Tomorrow, I should be able to get my Veteran's Cape!
Thank you for reading!
Good night!

Hey guys!
I'm feeling great today! I came onto Runescape, and couldn't wait to get my Veteran's Cape! I was still in the Sophanem bank, so I Home Teleported to Lumbridge and started messaging my friends who were online. I only managed to get hold of four, but three came in the end. Good enough for me! TzRex-Jad was the first to arrive, followed by DivineFury and then Smith Revamp. I had my money with me, and I ran over to Hans.
I spoke with him, and finally, he admitted that I had been around for just as long as he had been. He sold me a Veteran's Cape! I put it on and everyonoe congratulated me! I felt so good... This was a great achievement! And what's a big moment without something to kill the mood? I was trying to figure out how to perform the emote... I looked in the Emotes Tab, I right clicked the Cape while I was wearing it; nothing. Eventually Smth Revamp told me to try and click the Skillcape emote. BOOM. The giant "V" appeared, with me standing triumphantly on it. It looked good; right.
I thanked them for coming, and they left to do their own separate things. I ran to the Lumbridge bank and started withdrawing items to go on an herb run. Before I could finish though, Smith Revamp asked me if I could give him an iron ore. Lucky for him, I had one! I ran to the Lumbridge Courtyard and met him there again, where I traded him the ore. He teleported off to Burthorpe, while I ran back to the bank and retrieved the remaining supplies.
I was getting pretty low on Snapdragon seeds... I only had ten left! I teleported to the Grand Exchange, and was about to buy 100 seeds when I realized that I was really close to level 73 Farming! At 73 Farming, I would be able to plant Lantadymes! So instead of buying 100, I only bought 20 Snapdragon seeds.
I was just about to leave and go on my trip when I noticed a level 78 player asking for help...

Everyone seemed to be running past this poor player, ignoring his pleas. I ran to him, and asked what was the matter. Turns out, he wanted to know the fastest way to make 1m. I went over multiple ways with him. He didn't want to go mining, fishing, farming or any other form of skilling, nor did he have any money to gamble with (Good, gambling is bad ). So, I suggested he train Slayer so that he could gain combat levels and then kill Dragons for money.
Unfortunately, he didn't own a weapon of any kind... He wanted a Dragon Longsword. I decided to surprise him. I told him to wait there, while I went off to do something. Dragon Longswords were 60k... Not too bad. I bought one, then gave it to him. He was really happy; I love to see players happy! I told him I had to go, so I ran off to the Fairy Ring in Edgeville. I teleported to Miscellania, where I helped Miner Magnus. I feel a little sorry for all those other workers... Miner Magnus is the only worker I ever help
Finally, I could go on my herb run! Boy, did I get a lot of herbs. It's been my goal for a little while to try and get 50 herbs from my herb run, and today I got quite close to that. 46 herbs... Pretty good, huh?
That done, I banked my herbs and was wondering what to do... A clanmate was at the Citadel, saying how bored he was, so I grabbed my Clan Vexillum and paid him a visit. I had only been there for a minute or two when I saw another player appear. His name was Fliggle Nor*. I recognized him right away; he's a regular forumer, like me!
He immediately recognized me, ironically, and told me it was because of the Octopus
The clanmate, Fliggle Nor* and I talked for quite a while about all sorts of things. Apparently, Mining Golds is one of the only Tier 3 Citadels that is only for guests, so we tend to get the occassional player strolling through. After a while, Fliggle Norf logged off, and I decided I wanted to go and do some Dungeoneering.

I exited the Citadel and ran north to the East Falador Bank. I withdrew my Ring of Kinship and teleported over to Daemonheim. I switched over to World 117 to get some experience for Fletching. I said "Offering 99 Fletching" a single time, and I immediately recieved four requests. I always go in chronological order; I know I would hate to request assistance first, and then not recieve it. I got 15,000xp from the first player, and then reached the maximum of 30,000xp from the second player. Fastest 30,000 Fletching experience there could be. Well, besides Effigies I guess...
It was time for Dungeoneering. You know the story as well as I do: I get drawn into Dungeoneering, I start enjoying it, then the boss utterly destroys me, until finally, I am reduced to a heap of anger. For some reason though, the pull to go Dungeoneering is so great... I couldn't resist.
I entered Floor 19, small. I was a little rusty on my keying skills... But it was the fun I was there for, not the experience (although it is a nice little bonus!). Floor 19's boss was Har'Lak the Riftsplitter. Somehow, I seemed to never be able to hit him, and due to his Prayer Draining ability, I was downed quickly. I was persistent though. I repeatedly came back, until finally, after my fourth try, I defeated him.
The next two floors held the same boss: Stomp. Now this boss is totally unfair against soloers. Just about every time, the rocks would fall in front of one of the crystals, blocking me from placing the lodestone and ultimately healing him 700+ lifepoints. Again, persistence was the key. I didn't stop, and soon, I killed them.
I stopped after finishing off Floor 21. Only 19,000xp to go until I reach level 71 Dungeoneering! I logged off for the night.
Thanks for reading guys! For some reason, I feel really energised today... My mood usually reflects the quality of the writing, unfortunately. On the bright side though, that means that this entry is full of energy!
Good night!

As promised, I'll explain why I didn't update this after I logged off. You see, I'm a big fan of Landau Eugene Murphy Jr (An amazing contestant in America's Got Talent), and the Finale of the competition was an hour earlier than I had thought. And, well, I just had to go and watch it
Back on track: I had logged on and already knew what I wanted to do! I was getting quite close to level 71 Dungeoneering, so it was my goal to make that happen, and edge my way closer to my long-term goal of having all skills 80+.
I teleported to Daemonheim (recieved another 30,000 Fletching experience!) and entered Daemonheim, this time doing medium sized floors. And guess who the first boss monster was? I'll give you a moment think... Dum dee dum... Ahem... *Checks watch*. Alright, that's good enough. It was Stomp. Yes, Stomp once again. The boss that seems to hate poor soloing players.
Last time, he continuously blocked the second crystal, preventing me from activating it. This time was even better. Instead of blocking the crystals, he took it to a whole new level: He blocked me inside a two square area. Now how unfair was this? I couldn't move, so I was forced to wait and watch helplessly as Stomp regained over 700 lifepoints I worked so hard to steal away. He did this multiple times, and I grew more and more frustrated. I was going to do it though. I didn't have any food left nor Prayer Points, but he was so close to death; one hit would suffice.
Miss, miss, miss, miss, and I was dead. Ugh... I returned and killed him in one hit, dealing only a 27 in damage.

I completed two more floors after that, dispatching those bosses quite easily. Saggitare was no match for Grimwold2! On each of these floors, I came upon a Night Spider, and on each kill, I prayed for a Shadow Silk Hood. But, alas, I didn't get one.
This whole time, I was listening in on Dordracio's adventures. He had just become a member he wanted to visit the God Wars Dungeon for the first time. I told him to bring a rope, but I didn't even consider warning him about bringing God Items. He didn't know, and of course, he died the instant he set foot in the dungeon. He couldn't get back quickly, so Camdozaal flashed up there really quickly and blessed the grave. Dordracio had to log off though, so he asked for us to get his items.
Camdozaal had to log off as well, so he met me at Daemonheim so that he could give me a couple hundred thousand coins to give to Dordracio. I still had plenty of time... I would go up there and retrieve the items myself! But before I could ask Camdozaal which world the gravestone was on, he had logged off!
This was quite a problem. On one of the worlds, Dordracio's grave would be sitting in the God Wars Dungeon, its timer ticking relentlessly. I had no idea where to begin; so I decided to start from world 172 and work my way downwards.
You will never realize ho many worlds there are in Runescape until you actually work your way down them. The 20 second profile-transfer really slowed the process; I was able to switch worlds twice every minute.
I spent ages switching worlds, scanning the floor of the God Wars Dungeon before I would log off. There were so many worlds... By the time I had gone through worlds 172 to 100, I had little faith left that the grave would still be there. But I couldn't give up. I hated the thought that Dordracio's items would be sitting there, while I just gave up. Plox-Maul logged in, and I asked him if he could help out with the great search.

Being the great friend that he is, he agreed to help me out. He logged onto Itoku and started sifting through the worlds one and up.
We searched for another twenty minutes. Finally, we reached the same world as each other. Our mission had failed... we hadn't retrieved Dordracio's items. I felt horrible. I had just let him down. Itoku then had to log off... His entire time playing Runescape that day was spent helping me. That's the sign of a great friend.
And this is when I found out that the finale of America's Got Talent was on. I couldn't miss my favourite act winning the whole competition, so I logged off.
Thanks for reading!
See you later!

Before I logged on today, I couldn't help but log into Runescape Classic. A long, long time ago, back when Runescape Classic had reopened again, I had tried to log in, only to get a message telling me that only active accounts could log into it.
Keeping that in mind, I was really quite scared. What if that happened again? This was te last reopening... That means I would never be able to get a Classic Cape! I followed the links to the Runescape Classic homepage and logged in. Thankfully, it led me straight to the character creation. Unfortunately, there was no octopus option...
I was in a room with a ton of other players. The graphics were absolutely atrocious! It brings me back to when I first heard about Runescape... It was years ago, probably nine years into the past. I had heard about it from some friends, and had made my account. Little did I know, the Runescape I logged into way back then was the game we know as Runescape Classic. Back then though, I couldn't figure out how to open doors, so I quit
Now, I swiveled the camera around the small room. The camera didn't have the complete freedom it does today; it swung in intervals. I looked for the door, and unbelievably, I couldn't find it. Surely it couldn't happen again, could it? Imagine the embarassment... A five year Veteran of Runescape, unable to open a door.
Finally though, I did find it, but to my dismay, I was told I had to speak to the Guide first. I tried to, but I got the message telling me the Guide was busy... I tried for a while, but the same message kept appearing. I started looking around the different tabs. Things sure did look different. I actually stumbled onto a button that said "Skip Tutorial". So lucky for me, I wasn't trapped in the room for eternity! I started running around, feeling like a complete noob. Everyone was level three! But then, I saw a player who looked totally epic; a real adventurer!

I right clicked this player, only to find that he was level 10... He was still the highest level player around though.
I decided that before I logged off, I would try and light a fire. I found a tree, and started chopping. I think my shoes must have had oil on them though, because I repeatedly slipped and fell. Finally, on my tenth try or so, I cut myself some logs. Now to burn them! I tried using the Tinderbox on the logs, but then remembered reading somewhere that you had to drop the logs first. I did that, and after my second try, I successfully lighted the logs.
I logged out of Runescape Classic. I can honestly see myself going back some time and training some of those skills though.
Back into "Runescape 2", I started Dungeoneering again. I finished my one dungeon and achieved level 71 Dungeoneering! The boss was a tough one though... Har'Lak The Riftsplitter. His special power is to create potent portals on the floor, which deal heavy damage if you step onto them. Unfortunately, this particular one happened to be a little trigger happy. At one point, close to 90% of the floor was covered in portals. I couldn't even move without getting hit!
I exited the dungeon to see Dordracio's new Classic Cape. Seeing that, I decided to go and get mine! I headed over to Varrock and spoke to Iffie, the old lady in the clothing shop. I got my Classic Cape! I performed a couple emotes before venturing out on an herb run.
Coming back from that, Dordracio invited me to the Duel Arena! As usual, I couldn't pass that up, so I headed on over to the Duel Arena. The first duel with him was quite fast. He was only level 59, and I actually managed to three-hit him. The next duel was the same, and the third followed suit. He eventually asked me to let him win, so I turned off auto-retaliate and let him kill me.
I was at the Duel Arena for quite some time. Challenging new opponents, and testing my strategies.
