I ended up with a Mud Staff, Octopus, and my Clan Cape. I also had a ton of different types of runes. I headed to the Livid Farms. There, I spoke to Pauline Polaris as to what I was intended to do.
I was a little unsure at first, but I had no choice but to give it a go. I started out with fertilising the patches. When it came to healing the diseased Livid Strains, I had to identify which strain it was out of four possible answers. This took some time to master. They all looked relatively similar, but I started developing a system of telling them apart. One was small, one had two large flowers, while the other two looked almost identical; except one was much larger than the other.
I was also required to bunch the strains together, deposit them onto a Wagon, then rebuild the fence, then re-energise Pauline of she became drained. I was a little slow at first, but I really started to get the hang of it. I would start out with fertilising and curing the strains. Then I would energise Pauline, bunch the strains together if they needed to be, then fix the fences. After all that, I would take two new logs from the pile and transform them into planks.
There are a few things I soon came to realise about Livid Farming. First: It was insanely click intensive. I barely had time to finish all the tasks before the farm had moved onto its next stage, let alone type. Second: Getting points was painfully slow. A lot of people claim to despise Livid farming, but I (dare I say it?) actually quite enjoyed it! I don't tend to like slow training, so the hectic nature of the activity was quite appealing!
After a while, I was getting really fast at it. I could time my spells between gameticks for maximum speed, and could actually beat the "experts" to the finish! Pretty soon, I had gained level 68 Farming and level 87 Magic! I continued on with the farming. I needed 69,800 points to complete the task, and after all this, I only had 20,000!
I grinded on.
