I logged on, ready to start slaying some Bloodvelds. I ventured into the Slayer Tower and started my task. There were a ton of other players there also, making it somewhat difficult to get kills. After camping there for a while, I remembered that RuneGuardian had asked me to attend a drop party in Al Kharid. I hopped over to the right world and saw Swami 8333 there, too. There were tons of people there, all waiting for the drops hosted by the clan MaSors.
I was there about 40 minutes early... I didn't want to get caught in a line up like the one with No1s Perfect. Finally, after 40 minutes of waiting, the drop party started. There were so many people there, it was ridiculous. Unfortunately, I didn't get a single item.
That was a failure, so I headed back to my Slayer task of Bloodvelds. After only having 50 to go, PvM Paladin invited me to the Duel Arena. I was reluctant at first, but then suddenly realized how much I hated Bloodveld*... That made me go right away.
I was going to buy a Zamorak Godsword, but PvM Paladin had actually bought one! I borrowed it from him and couldn't wait to test it out! My Zamorak Godsword and Dragon Halberd combo worked pretty good on PvM Paladin... But then again, he only has 45 Defence. I tried it multiple times on PvM Paladin, then decided to test it out on other players who would have higher Defence levels. For the most part, the Dragon Halberd would only manage to get a few hits in before the freezing effect would wear off. I tested it out against tons of people, but almost always lost to the players levels 125+. Being back in the Duel Arena really brought be back to reality about the community. I don't know why, but I really hate it when someone says "GF" after a fight. Don't they remember the 5+ times before where I utterly destroyed them? And I never said "GF" once.
The Zamorak Godsword combo just wasn't working as well as I would hope it would.

So, I banked the sword and went back to killing Bloodvelds. Finally, after killing them for ages, I finally finished the task. Heading back to Kuradal, I got my new task. 95 Jungle Strykewyrms! I loved those!
I headed out straight away, and started killing them with a player named Wormwood. After only five kills, I got a Hard Clue Scroll! I set out right away to complete it, and in the end, Sir Pryzin gave me my reward. I recieved two Rune Platebodies, a Rune Longsword and 65 Zamorak Arrows. In total, about 155k in wealth.
I headed back to the Jungle Strykewyrms and met up with Wormwood again. After 50 kills or so, Wormwood left and I was all alone... A few more kills later, I achieved level 77 Slayer! Now I could get assigned Desert Strykewyrms! So after a long time, I finished my task and got a new one: Dagganoth*.
That was all for today! Thanks for reading!
See you later!

I logged on, ready to go to Dagannoths. But right before i could go, addiedady78 PMed me, wanting an invitation to Mining Golds. I checked his stats to make sure he met the requirements, then split a House Teleport Tab to travel to Neitznot. There, I met him cutting Arctic Pine trees, and I invited him to the clan.
Now I could go to the Dagannoths! I used a Games Necklace and teleported to the Barbarian Outpost, and then hopped across the rocks to get to the Lighthouse. There weren't nearly as many bots as there usually are there... In fact, there seemed to be more actual players than anything. And, of cousre, one of them had to place a cannon to make it that much harder to get kills. I had 200+ of these to kill, so I got crackin'. My full Bandos was offering some pretty good protection against the Dagannoths... I barely got hit.
After about 100 kills, I got a Medium Clue Scroll! I didn't leave right away though; I wanted to get this task over with. So after ages of killing Dagannoths, I finally finished the task. Clue Scroll time! It wasn't a particularly long Tresure Trail, although it did feature quite a few Emote Clues. In the end, my loot consisted of mostly junk... The best item being an Adamant Platebody (h5).
I headed back to Kuradal to get my next task. I got TzHaars... and once again, I was offered the chance at a Special Challenge of killing TzTok-Jad. This time, I accepted the challenge. Last time, I had heard that a Dragonfire Shield is good for the Fight Caves, so I decided to try and buy one while the price is so low. I switched to world 2 and looked around. Not a single player was selling one. I tried to buy one on the Grand Exchange, and it didn't buy there either... Finally, I put a offer in for much over the guide price, and I boguht a Dragonfire Shield for a total price of 9.3m.
Now I had to charge it for it to gain its stats!

I didn't really know where to charge it, so I asked DivineFury. She suggested Bronze Dragons... although I had no idea where those were. Apparently, they reside in the Brimhaven Dunegon, so I headed on over there. Of course, I forgot my Dragon Hatchet, so I had to teleport back to Edgeville, grab it and come all the way back again. I looked on my map to learn where these Bronze Dragons were, and headed in. Turns out they were right beside the Black Demons I used to kill!
I had brought some Antifire Potions along, so I simply stood at a distance from them and let them scorch me. Only problem was, bots continuously killed the dragon who was attacking me. But finally, after some time, I had my Dragonfire Shield all up and ready to go! I teleported out and checked its stats. Whoa! +70 to everything... That's insanely good! I tried it on with my full Bandos... I looked really cool. I thought back to the beginning of this thread, when I was saving up for a Bandos Chestplate. And now, looking at me, with full Bandos, a Dragonfire Shield, 70 Prayer... A lot has changed since then.
TheSpiffiest told me I should use Diamond Bolts (e) for the fight against TzTok-Jad. Those things are an outrageous 900+ gp each! I decided I would make my own. I already had 1000+ Adamant Bolts and 40+ Diamonds, so I cut my Diamonds into Bolt Heads, then attached them to my Adamant Bolts. Then I enchanted them to make my Diamond Bolts (e). Tons of money saved there!
Next up, I wanted to borrow an Amulet of Fury off of TheSpiffiest. The day was coming to an end, so I needed it for 24 hours. TheSpiffiest didn't really want to wait that long though, so he trust traded it to me.
I ran to the Varrock Altar and renewed my Prayer Points. I then teleported to Karamja and entered the TzHaar City. Lucky for me, I got to wear a Slayer Helm for the Fight Caves!

Now I wanted to know exactly what sort of stats a Slayer Helm had, so I looked them up on Runescape Wiki. Apparently, there was this thing called a "Full Slayer Helm". I had never even heard of that... I thought there was only one kind! I asked Lion 0fJudah if I should be getting one of these Full Slayer Helms. Apparently, everyone knew about these things but me. So I headed back to the Grand Exchange, bought a Hexcrest and a Focus Sight and attached them to my Slayer Helm. Now it looks like everyone else's
Finally, I headed back to the Fight Caves and entered. The level 90 monsters seemed to be hitting me more than usual... Odd. On about Wave 11, I logged out for the night.
Thanks for reading!

I logged on int he middle of Wave 11 of the Fight Caves. Those level 90 monsters were really becoming bothersome. On Wave 13, I decided I would exit the Fight Caves and use a different strategy. After consulting with my friend, fohx, I came back with my Verac's Plateskirt and Saradomin Brews and Super Restores. I entered the Fight Caves again.
Again, the level 90 monsters seemed to be hitting unsually accurately. So, I started praying against Ranged. About halfway through wave 34, I achieved level 72 Ranged! It was then that something dawned on me... Becuse I had exited the Fight Caves, I would no longer recieve a bonus for killing TzTok-Jad, and even worse, my Slayer Helm would lose its bonuses on Wave 58 or so! That sucks... But there's really nothing I can do about it.
I grinded through the waves, developing different techniques. This time, I actually used the Saradomin Brews... Definitely a lot faster health regeneration than simply resting. Finally, on wave 54, I logged off for the day.
And that was all! I didn't really get too much time to play Runescape yesterday, so this was all that happened

I logged on into Wave 54 of the TzHaar Fight Caves. I battled my way through countless foes, such as the always-annoying Ket-Zeks, and the infuriating Tz-Kihs. Finally, after ages, I was on wave 62. The next wave was TzTok-Jad. I wouldn't blow it! Unfortunately, I had finished my Slayer task on Wave 56, so my helmet didn't hold any bonuses. Halfway through the last Ket-Zek, I turned on Auto-Retaliate. I wasn't going to die from that this time! He died, and TzTok-Jad spawned. I was nervous... More nervous than most other things in my life.
TzTok-Jad opened with a magic attack; quite rare to occur. Luckily, he somehow only hit a 99. I raced over to him, and started switching prayers. On his third attack though, he hit a 490. I concentrated harder, too busy with watching his attacks to heal. I missed another one... I guess I wasn't switching my prayers fast enough. I was hit a 270 and died. Again. Another two hours plus gone... Although I did get quite close to level 72 Ranged! I wasn't sure what to do... I wanted a Fire Cape so badly... I didn't want to wait for Kuradal to assign TzHaars again. I decided to give it one more go for today.
I teleported to the Grand Exchange, bought more supplies, and returned the Amulet of Fury to TheSpiffiest. I teleported back to the TzHaar City and entered the Fight Caves, this time wearing a Verac's Full Helm instead of my Full Slayer Helm. The beginning of the Fight Caves are always the worst. All I can think about is the enormous amount of waves I must endure for one single attempt to kill TzTok-Jad. So I started.
It seemed that the difference with my Slayer Helm was quite noticeable. I wasn't hitting the Ket-Zeks nearly as hard, not not accurately at all. My attempts at the Fight Caves definitely seem to be going faster though. Now that I know techniques to safespot and such, it seemed as though I was
grinding through the waves slightly faster...

It still took a long time to get to Wave 62. When I finally got there, I didn't feel confident at all. If anything, I felt insignificant and scared. I switched to my Diamond Bolts (e) (something I had forgotten to do on the last two attempts) and killed the remaining Ket-Zek. TzTok Jad spawned, right next to me. He opened with a Ranged attack, and I had my prayer on right away. I started attacking him; smooth so far.
He dipped his head as though he was about to launch a magic attack, but then he used a ranged attack instead, I managed to switch my prayers fast enough to negate the damage. He seemed to keep doing that. He would dip his head as tough he were to do a magic attack, then he would do a ranged attack. Worse, occasionally he actually would do a magic attack. After a bit, I missed a prayer switch and I was hit with a 460. That rattled me; I doubled my focus. TzTok Jad dippe his head for a magic attack, so I switched to Protect from Magic. But instead, he launched a Ranged attack, killing me. I couldn't believe it. The healers hadn't even come yet! How had I died on my third attempt? I had done this three times now! I should be doing this casually!
I was actually quite irritated; I've no idea why. It was a different kind of anger. Not the Dungeoneering anger, oh no. That anger is based on overpowered monsters. This anger was towards myself. How had I let myself die again? I figured out why TzTok-Jad kept dipping his head though; it's his animation for when he takes damage. I spoke with fohx and Super Spiffy. I was still quite angry with myself. Another two hours, gone. PvM Paladin then logged on, and he made me feel much better. It's no wonder we're such good friends!
My anger had abated, and I had promised my clanmates that I would work on capping my resources at the clan Citadel. All we needed was more Stone. I teleported to the Clan Camp and entered the portal.

Although we were trying to get as many clanmates to come mine stone, only a few showed up. The conversations at the stone plot were quite interesting. Topics ranged from E-Dating, to Mining Golds ranks to all sorts of crazy things. I tried to persuade players to come and mine, but it was no use. I was actually gathering stone much quicker than I had expected. Some of the speed was probably due to the increasingly entertaining conversations.
I was online for much longer than normal. I wanted to hit that maximum resource cap! Magical Zing PMed me, asking why I was online. I answered, although it seems that he had switched worlds at that exact instant
Finally, after a long time mining stone, I hit the 1200 resource cap! There weren't too many people left anymore... I logged off for the night.
I logged onto the Runescape Forums an hour later and saw Magical Zing's post. I had replied, and I knew I was online longer than normal... But I still wanted to make sure. I had, after all, logged off with my full Bandos and Dragonfire Shield. I definitely didn't want to lose that.
I quickly logged back on and was faced with the "This account has not yet logge out from its previous session". What were the odds of that happening, right when I was making sure I didn't get hijacked? I tried again and logged on successfully. All my items were there, safe and sound. Even so, I ran to Falador, deposited all my items, PMed Magical Zing to clear things up and logged off.
That was all! Thanks for reading! I think tomorrow I'll give the Fight Caves another go. It seems that every attempt I do, I get closer to defeating TzTok-Jad.
See you later!

I logged on, ready for my fourth attempt to defeat TzTok-Jad. After pschying myself up, I entered the Fight Caves. From there on, it was yet another two and a half hour grind to TzTok-Jad. On wave 54, I took a bit of a break to get my nerves down, and on Wave 61, I took another break; A nice long hour break. Finally, my nerves seemed to have abated, so I came back and logged on. Instantly, I was nervous again. It seems there's nothing that can be done about your nerves before TzTok-Jad.
On Wave 62, I equipped my Diamond Bolts (e) and readied myself for TzTok-Jad. He spawned, and I was immeditaely hit with a Magic attack that hit a 734. TzTok-Jad is supposed to use Ranged attacks for his first attack... How come he keeps using Magic on me? I kept my cool and started switching prayers, keeping in mind the things that I learned from my previous attempts. I was doing it! I was actually switching my prayers!
Soon, I saw the healers spawn and draw close to the fight. Keeping an eye on TzTok-Jad, I distracted one of the healers. But while I attempted to distract a second one, I mistook a Magic attack for a Ranged attack, and I was killed. I'm actually quite happy about how far I got. I think next time, I've got it.
My Citadel still needed people to mine Stone... So I decided to give players candy if they came to the Citadel! I had nine Purple Sweets in my bank from a previous Treasure Trail, so I withdrew them. I teleported off to my Citadel! There, I met with three clanmates, two of which accepted my candy. I stayed there, entertaining them with my emotes. I knew how boring it was mining that stone... They needed some sort of entertainment!
